Cover & Title - 4 out of 5.

I just want to admit right off the bat, i did not read the first story in the book. Apologies but i am not into M/M romances so i skipped it.

I Need You For Christmas
This is a short story that contains a hell of a lot of steamy BDSM sex scenes, some serious pantie melters! It was also really sweet, i liked the characters and i felt their chemistry straight away. It was a really nice & easy read, i would really recommend it & I would read more by this auth...more

Blindfolds. Handcuffs. Submission.

There's so much Jonah Kendrick hasn't tried, and so much he wants to explore. But just before Christmas he finds a ring box in his boyfriend's desk. Jonah panics. Three short, sexy stories in this anthology. I Need You for Christmas by Leah Braemel, Breath on Embers by Anne Calhoun and Wish List by K.A. Mitchell. My personal favorite was Breath on Embers by Anne Calhoun.

The first story I did not read because it is about a M/M relationship and that is just not something of interest to me. The other two stories were very good with HEA'S.

I Need you for Christmas was a short story about a female Mountie and an artist. The story contained some BDSM and was ver

K.A. Mitchell 4.5 stars

K.A. Mitchell is one of my favourite M/M authors. She is so readily able to encompass all that I love in a romance – authentic characters, believable conflict and a heavy dose of sexiness!

In WISH LIST, Jonah and Evan are discovering that there are more to each other than they first knew. Jonah has been feeling a sense of emptiness and unfulfillment in their relationship, though it’s not really from Evan’s lack of trying. Jonah has certain...more
Red Hot Holiday is a collection of three contemporary erotic novellas, all centered around Christmas. Each one offers the reader a different story and I have reviewed them all separately.

Breath on Embers by Anne Calhoun --- 4 stars

Steeped in sensual delights, amazingly HOT, a beautiful love story, and a hero who is utterly divine!! There is nothing I didn't like about firefighter Ronan O'Rourke; Beautiful, sexy thing that he is!

The heroine, Thea Moretti, is trapped in the darkness of grief and...more

I really loved this contemporary erotic Anthology!! It was HOT……Sexy and kind of Sweet too! Breath on Embers by Anne Calhoun was definitely my favourite in this one…it was pretty full on HOTNESS, though I enjoyed them all! I loved the overall message of keeping the one you love and I really thought all the stories had really well developed characters and the storylines were well executed. This Anthology covers m/m and m/f with some kinkiness. It had angst, humour and a lot of yumminess.
Red Hot Holiday is an erotic Christmas based anthology containing three stories with a touch of BDSM.

Wish List by K.A. Mitchell

Jonah is heading to Evan’s family home for a holiday get together, when he comes across promise rings meant for a couple. He immediately panics, unsure the direction of his relationship/commitment with Evan. Jonah writes up a “wish list” of all the things he wants to try before he commits to another man. He includes being a submissive on his list. Evan finds Jonah’s list...more

My Thoughts:

STEAMY—HOT—Christmas Tales! This book is divided into 3 shorter ones. I will review them as such.

I Need You for Christmas by Leah Braemel

Cute story with HEA ending. Hot scenes that were very descriptive. I felt more connected to Ryan that Meg. Not my favorite out of the three.

Breath on Embers by Annie Calhoun

I love love loved this short story. Annie was so descriptive and engaging in her writing. I was sucked into Thea’s heartache and grief. I...more

All the stories in this holiday collection contain extra-spicy sex, but that wasn't necessarily the point. Or at least it wasn't for this reader.

I found it interesting that all three stories were about established relationships. There was no porn-without-plot here. Yes, there was a little kink, but it was really about love, and what worked for these relationships, these people.

Breath on Embers wasn't merely my favorite story in this collection, it nearly br...more
Red Hot Holiday is a great anthology filled with some pretty steamy and romantic tales. All three stories were were well written and enjoyably

The first story, Wish List, was sweet story of misunderstanding. Jonah thinks his boyfriend is going to propose to him. In a panic, he makes a wish list of all the things he wishes he could do before he gets ready to commit. Evan is happy to find the list and realizes he can let his true self show through. Jonah and Evan were a great couple, but I was tro...more

Wish List 2 stars

I'm just branching more into reading m/m books, so maybe this was just a disappointment because I just got done reading a really good one. I really hated Jonah. I just can't abide cheating or thinking of cheating on characters, so this wasn't the book for me.

Breath on Embers 3 1/2 stars

I absolutely adored Ronan, and he completely stole the show for me. I liked Thea, but Ronan's character was just so easy to love. Now the sex (because she didn't want love) scenes were scorching h...more

I received a copy at NetGalley for a review. Three stories, so three reviews:

Wish List - 2 stars. This was my first M/M story and I'm not sure that it was the right one to wet my feet with. I felt that both characters were slightly annoying and the fact that they wouldn't just talk to each other really started to bother me. It was one of those relationships where I didn't care if they stayed together.

I Need You for Christmas - 3 stars. In all of the stories, the couples were already together, bu...more
Red Hot Holiday is a very hot and sweet holiday read.

WARNING: If you don't like to read about BDSM, mild BDSM or M/M or threesomes don't read this story.

Now if you are reading this is because you might like to read about this type of stories.

I don't want to give too much away for these stories, so here is a brief breakdown of the stories. The first is very into BDSM and is M/M, the second story is mild BDSM and the third is about a threesome with very mild bonding. This way you can skip to the o
I have been loving the Christmas themed anthologies again this year and I think that Red Hot Holiday has to be my favourite. The main reason I wanted to read it was for Leah Braemel's story and that one definitely didn't disappoint but I've also found two new (to me) authors who I'm sure I'll be reading more from in the future. If you're looking for a selection of spicy holiday reads then you can't go wrong with this one and I'd highly recommend giving it a try.

**Wish List by K.A. Mitchell**

This is the first book by K.A Mitchell I've read and it's also the first M/M I've read. I have to say I'm looking forward to reading more of each. With that in mind, I will say the Dom/Sub aspect of the book was a little too much for me.

Since M/M is a new area for me, I didn’t know what to expect. After I got the guys right in my mind, it was an easy book to follow and understand. I love...more

This is a modern (and very erotic) twist on the Gift of the Magi story. Ryan and Megan have been dating for at least a couple of years, but because of their careers they live in completely different parts of Canada and only get to see each other a couple of times a year. They are both tired of it and want to be together. What they don't realize is that each of them have sacrificed their career to surprise the other at Christmas with the fact that...more
Saw this recommended over at Dear Author and it sounded to delish to pass up. Each story gets its own review and then overall impressions!

"I Need You for Christmas" by Leah Braemel

I enjoyed this story quite a bit. I wanted to smack a couple folk for their behavior (Ryan kind of included 'cause while Megan was making a big change in her life, so we he and his involved a heck of a lot of other people having to adjust whereas hers was really just her), but by in large I thought this was a cute sto...more

This is the story about Jonah and Evan. Jonah accidentally finds a pair of ring boxes and thinks that Evan is about to propose to him. While they’ve been together for a long time, Jonah is suddenly thinking about all the kinky things he would miss out on trying if he married Evan. The pair travel down to Evan’s large family for the holidays, where all sorts of mi...more
An interesting collection, though not quite even.

"Wish List" by a new-to-me K.A. Mitchell overall was a good story--three, possibly three and a half stars. I liked the two main characters, Jonah and Evan, though for some reason it took me longer than usual to be able to keep them straight in my head. (Maybe because I usually read M/F stories, which require less conscious thought to remember who is whom? Am I that blonde? Probably.) Once I did, though, I enjoyed their story. I Need You for Christmas by Leah Braemel

Megan is surprised at the airport by her long-distance boyfriend. What follows is a sweet story of being willing to make sacrifices in order to be with the ones you love. Review originally posted here:

The overall anthology was a great mix of stories. From the m/m story by Mitchell, to the emotional angst of the Calhoun novella to the fun and sexy, somewhat light-hearted read by Braemel, there is a little something for everyone. However, the stories are also so different that some people may not like one versus another. But for me, I thought it was a wonderful mixture of erotic holiday stories.

Red Hot holiday is an anthology made up of three stories: I Need You for Christmas by Leah Braemel, Breath on Embers by Annie Calhoun and Wish List by K.A. Mitchell

This anthology was ok. Each story is written well and focuses on an already established couple (more or less.) My issue is that none of the stories really engaged me, I found them all a bit boring. I thought there would be more passion and steaminess (based on the cover) and didn’t like that each...more
