Doctor Jacob Davison has outgrown the hookups of his younger days and wants to settle down. When he’s abandoned by the side of the road, a leather-clad stranger stops and offers him a ride. Chance Renton is different from anyone Jay’s ever met. He’s caring and helpful, yet cynical and world-weary.

From the first moment of their shared motorcycle ride, an attraction begins

This is a cute, short, and very hot story about two men who have just met and decide they want to get to know each other better.

Jay is a doctor, and when his so-called boyfriend, who refuses to come out and admit they are together, dumps him at the side of the road, he has had enough. He finally decides it is time to break up. The biker who comes to his rescue may look scary, but Jay - for once - takes a chance. Even though risky, it turns out to be one of his better decisions when they really h

Jay has had a long day volunteering at a local NOH8 photo shoot and now has a pissy boyfriend. As they drive and the boyfriend bitches, Jay realizes that the guy is in the closet, especially at work, and pretends to be straight. When he feels ill, he asks the boyfriend to pull over, and when he gets out to throw up, the boyfriend takes off and leaves him there. Jay is rescued by a hot guy on a motorcycle who saw Jay leaving the photo shoot, an

I really liked this short story. It was short, sweet, and boy was that sex hot. The ex was a bit of an ass, but I guess if he hadn't been, then we would have never gotten the lovely story of Chance and Jacob. While I am not totally on board with the idea of picking up a ride from a random stranger as the model way to go about choosing one's bed partners, sometimes in stories it is nice to suspend belief for a bit. Really enjoyed this story, and wouldn't mind reading more about this pair and how ...more

A single decision can change everything. For Jay, this means putting aside his natural caution and placing his trust in the hands of a stranger. Though he has no way of knowing it at the time, this one impulsive act will alter the course of his future.

Perhaps because he’s a doctor, Jay rarely takes risks. He’s also ready to settle down, if only he could find the right guy. Abandoned at the side of the road one evening after a row with his boyfriend, Jay is contemplating the long walk home when a

Stranded on the side of the road by his closeted, dick of a boyfriend, Jay is rescued by a hot biker. Chance had seen the beautiful doctor volunteering at the NOH8 charity event and happily offers him a ride home. Not one to throw caution to the wind, Jay is nervous about accepting, the man could be an axe murderer after all, but he feels better when he finds o

Dumped unceremoniously (and literally) by his now ex-partner, Jay finds himself walking home from the middle of nowhere. A good Samaritan pulls up on a motorbike, having recognized Jay from the hospital charity event they’d both just been to. I don’t normally pay attention to editing issues, as they are the bane of even the best publishers, but here I couldn’t ignore it. Not when the main character’s name changed every other page from Chance to Chase and back again. Ouch….

Overlooking that failing, this is a quite good erotic little tale. Jay and Chance are an explosive combination, with plenty of hot sex to satisfy even the neediest reader. Pun intended. This is straightforward erotica, with most all of the talking done between the s

My official bio came to me when mulling over my two main passions: words and yarn. It hit me that they’re metaphorically the same thing: “For author and textile artist A. Catherine Noon, it’s all about the yarn, both metaphorical and literal – spinning a yarn, knitting with yarn, weaving, sewing, painting, sharing stories and good times over a cup of coffee with dark chocolate.”
I’m a born storytel
