Ryan and Jason each have a crush on the other -- though for separate reasons they've kept it secret. Their friendship was forged in their common identity as witches and they both belong to the same coven. Jason is a bit of a rule-breaker, and also a secret rent boy. About 2.5 stars. This story was interesting, but I think the ending left me a little high and dry. Ryan and Jason are witches and for some unknown reason, they decide to hold a seance and Jason ends up possessed by a rent boy. I am not sure if it was explained exactly why Jason felt it necessary to have the seance, but Ryan's inability to say no to Jason does provide a little bit of connection between the characters. A fast, entirely too fun story about young men and every little thing a body could hope to find in a Halloween story. While the characters search to come to terms with their own feelings and notions about sexuality (albeit some false and bordering on stereotypical in some cases) they manage to travel their way to an ending that will tug on the heartstrings and restore faith in true love.

Terry has always loved making up stories. Even before he could write or read, he could be found changing around Disney's stories after he'd watched the movies. The youngest of five, the odd one out, he grew up constantly bored because his siblings were "too old to play", so making up stories was really a necessity. At 11 he was hooked by the Harry Potter phenomenon, and by 16 he really couldn't wa...more
