One of the greatest works of political literature of all time. That it was delivered as a speech in parliament so magnifies the achievement. Burkes stands with men like Shakespeare, Milton and Lincoln as the true geniuses of the English language. He was also a philosopher of the first order and one of Britain greatest statesman. No political education can possibly be complete without a study of Burke.
