I loved this book. Luc and Jo were perfect for the other even though Luc hated her in the beginning. Luc believed his step father to leave a vast fortune to his last mistress and wants to know what type of women she was. They are forced together to get what they want from the will. I realized the truth about Maddie and Tom even before I read the book because it made sense. I loved the ending with them together.
this one bored me. luc came off as very cold and i did not care for the narration.

Joanna Forman has spent a lot of time in Rotumea over her lifetime. Staying to start her own business while caring for her aunt and the only father figure she knew, she was devastated when Tom died.

Luc MacAllister can not stand the duplicity Joanna represents. He must spend six months with his step-father's young mistress and then hope she will allow him his inheritance.

Overall, OK.

Robyn was born on 1940 in Northland, New Zealand, she was the oldest in herfamily, and as a child she thrilled her four sisters and one brother withbloodcurdling adventure tales, usually very like the latest book she'dborrowed from the library.

Robyn owes her writing career to two illnesses. The first was a younger sister's flu. She was living with her husband and her and spent most of thatwinter a...more
