Definitely on the hotter side of romantic, this story about an injured athlete trying to heal and find his feet again in time for the world championship and the Olympics had me engaged in the character's struggle from the start. Not only does the athlete have issues, the trainer who has been hired to make sure his shoulder has time to heal has his own problems. The one thing they have in common is their attraction to each other, and they use that to great advantage – once they admit to themselve...more

It’s no secret that I’m officially addicted to reading almost anything Sean Michael writes. I love the way his easy style of writing flows smoothly throughout his stories. His ability to write compelling, likeable characters that I find myself easily rooting for, make his books an automatic read for me. In Digging for Gold, he immediately swept this reader into the interesting and sexy lives of his characters, and even when I had come to the end of the book...more

I know I said this before, but I suppose I don't learn my own lessons -- I'm putting a moratorium on Sean Michael books. I used to love her writing, but I think my taste has evolved in a different direction. The dialogue during sex just drives me crazy. That's not the only reason this book didn't work...more

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours...more
