. It was a rather mundane read with mediocre characters and story plot. It's not that I hated the story because I didn't. There was just no pop, zing, or wow to it that retained my interest in it or prompted my interest in continuing the series. Jordan and Matt were ok but left no memorable impression. Stacey and Prescott were too crazy to even be believed (even in a fictional world). The story just left me feeling flat and unaffected. From the stellar reviews, I can see that I am in the minority and I'm ok with that. To each, their own :).
and will read it at some point to see if the characters or story peak my interest in the series.

3.75 out of 5. This is a cute story by an author whose work I have enjoyed in the past. It is certainly a cute story for the Halloween observance and is also filled with characters that are irritating in their prejudice and ability to hold a grudge. This one book is more like 1.5 stars for me. I didn't hate it but I didn't like it either. I think what disappointed me the most about this book was that there was a kernel of a very interesting story but it was never developed. Actually, that could pretty much sum up my entire thoughts about this book - it is almost completely lacking in any kind a development. In the 11 years Jordan has been away from Holiday, not much has changed. The town people are still judgmental and Matt Cooper is still the man that owns her heart. As Jordan tries to survive in a town that hates her, Matt is right by her side just like was when they were younger and it isn’t long before the attraction that never went away roars back full-force.

Wow! Just wow describes this book! I finished it within half a day and it was worth it! Now I don't read that many Witchy books because it doesn't tickle my fancy BUT Charmed Spirits DID tickle my fancy! As I started reading, I wasn't so sure if she was a Witch but as I kept on reading I was like, " OH so she is a Witch! Awesome" then I was like, "So what happened to Matt?" but then I found out and was like, "OHHHH! So that's what happened to Matt! Crazy Pyro bitch!" I loved the small town theme...more

OMG – the warning in the synopsis is not only hilarious but extremely accurate (particularly the last part of the statement)! I’m not saying another word, but you will know exactly what I’m talking about if you’ve read the book or when you read it!!

I simply love Carrie Ann Ryan. I have been a fan of her shifter books and when I saw this was coming out, I knew I had to read it. It was AMAZING! I could not put it down. I loved the premise, the setting and oh how I loved those Cooper brothers. I am so excited by this series.

This book was one of those that makes you go OH MY ! Imagine five sexy single men and a confused which sound interesting enough right.

I loved Charmed Spirits. Of course it helps that my birthday is on Halloween and this is the first book I have read that includes the holiday. Kind of strange huh?
This is one paranormal romance series that I am really anxious to read more of. I love all the holidays and I know that Carrie is going to make all the books very interesting.

Two words: Cooper brothers. Matt is the youngest of five totally super hottie brothers. Carrie Ann Ryan’s new release CHARMED SPIRITS, the first in a new series, is set in the small town of Holiday, Montana. It takes place over the Halloween holiday.
The town comes across picturesque and Ryan does a great job of painting the colors of fall into her descriptions. I absolutely loved the reference, “Any second now Bambi would frolic through.” It just made me laugh.

This is yet again another great series from Carrie Ann Ryan. Matt and Jordan have a great connection and chemistry. I love the humor between the two. Once I started reading I didn't want to put it down. The story flows from the very first chapter the the end with a couple of WOWs in there that you wouldn't expect. And of course who couldnt forget the Cooper brothers. All hot, sexy, & totally hilarious. I so can't want for Justin's story to come out next or the rest of them for that matter.

OMG was I annoyed over the way the town kowtowed to the mayor. Uh..how is it legal that he can demand someone be arrested? Or tear down a house someone lives in and is in the process of renovating? Crap that like annoys me.
And don't get me started on the ridiculous way Jordan and Matt acted at different times. Morons, both.
Having said that..I did think the premise was a good one and I wouldn't mind reading another of the books to see if she improves, hence the 2 stars.

The sweet story of a woman who is a witch by nature but due to poor circumstance and family issues, denies her true self as a child. She returns years later and found not only her true self but also her best friend who turns into the love of her life. There are some very steamy and romantic scenes in this book. Read in only a few hours and truly enjoyed it. My only complaint is the ending was rather abrupt but I did enjoy it.
I really enjoyed this book. The story was funny and sweet. The characters were endearing. This steamy scenes were hot! It was a quick read for me. I'm very curious about Holiday, Montana. I really can't wait to find out about the brothers. I can't wait for Justin's book!
I love reading paranormal romance stories and this one was another great one. It’s the beginning of a new series by this author. I like that the hero and heroine already had somewhat of a history, so it’s one of those great rekindling loves.
