I got a copy of this book thanks to a GoodReads giveaway and I must say I was ready to give up on this story until chapter eight came in. Guns, chase, car thef, snippers, scattered brains, all that kind of stuff.

Characters were, for the most part, likeable and seem to react and act acording to their established personalitlies, although a few OOC, mostly on Anna, were present, but then again it's my first book from this author and the thrid one on the series, so maybe I'm wrong.

I got this book as part of a GR free giveaway. But I would like to point out that I would have read it anyway. I love an action packed book with a female lead and this was one. I loved the way Anna and Joe (the two leads) interacted but I also loved how Anna took control of the situation and was not a shrinking violet or a damsel in distress. The plot was great too. The mix of science, history and action is something I am always looking for. I can't wait to go back and start this series from the ...more
