OMG! I fell in love again with Kai and just in a friggin' chapter! Duh, I suppose that's possible.
Oh, and I need Sweet Hope. Like air. Really, I'm not kidding.

Man, I love it when authors give us these male POVs after the initial book. I love that this one is of the first time Kaiden saw Anna. I loved Sweet Evil and I would kill to have a whole book in Kaiden's POV. He went through so much trying to avoid Anna for the good of them both and being unable to do so. I'd love to see how all of that was for him. How he felt about how she seemed to be changing him. The extra from Kai's POV was interesting and refreshing. The reader finally gets to see what is going on in his head for once and not guessing what he's thinking. I don't know why I felt like something was lacking in this extra but that's probably because I'm comparing it with the second extra which is just amazing. This is the first chapter of Sweet Evil from Kaiden’s POV, where he and Anna first meet. I loved seeing him on his own, doing his thing, and then his first impression of her - which explains his determination to get to know her.
Plus I loved the opportunity to get inside Kai’s head. He’s way more badass than pure and innocent Anna, the narrator of Sweet Evil, and I enjoyed getting a bit of nasty into the story. God, that sounds so wrong, but it works ;)

Really this was more like a 2.5 star read. It was okay, but not extraordinary. Of course this wasn't meant to be a big story, simply a scene from Sweet Evil from Kaiden's POV. I think I would have liked to hear other scenes from his view instead of this one. But, you know, I am just super happy that Wendy offered this to us at all. The first time Kaidan was introduced in this chapter he sounds so mysterious to me from Anna's POV and I never guessed all those thoughts were all over his mind. But he was very suspicious of Anna and intrigued at the same time. I wish I could say that i was into his POV but it wasn't that intense enough for me :( and then he blurted out "Freesia" and it reminded me of Bella of twilight instead. Oy vay! After reading this chapter from Kai's POV, I really, really want Sweet Peril! This snippet made me realize why I fell in love with this book, and how I am so excited for more. This is such a great series, and I was worried for a while that there wouldn't even be a 2nd book. However, I just learned that there will be, but it's not coming out till 2013 :( Ugh! The wait will be unbearable, but as long as there's another book, I'm happy!
It's difficult to be inside Kaidan's head. I couldn't imagine what he thinks! He's the most frustrating character I've ever read in a book. This POV was really enlightening and help me understand him. I felt like I was reading a different book, and this is good 'cause I could see how different is Anna's world from Kaidan's . HOT HOT HOT HOT!! I love reading a guys POV and KAIDAN'S is EXCEPTIONAL. There is something so RAW and so SENSUAL in the way he's mind works and he literally has to filter what he is thinking. OMG why in the hell are these publishers disputing whether book 2 should be published...what the frig is the hold up. This would be the first chapter of the book and I'M HOOKED already !! Oh my!! Just when I thought I could handle the wait for the next book in this series, Wendy goes and tosses us a bone!!! Kaidan is such a guilty pleasure for me, this boy just makes me melt! This was an awesome treat, to see his first meeting with Anna from his POV. He's got such a sinfully dirty mind, and I just loved getting a sneak peek into it!! Thank you to Wendy for giving us a little more time with Kaidan before Sweet Hope is finally released!!!
It was great to finally get to see Kaiden's point of view, to see his true intentions and his heart. Even though I knew from his actions where his conscience lied, it was awesome to hear it from him. I am a HUGE sucker of Kaiden's bad-boy-ness, his accent (yes, I listened to Sweet Evil on auido), and knowing his heart really wants to do what is right.

OMGOMGOMG, never thought I'd get to see Kaidan's P.O.V, but when I saw this book, I freaked out and jumped up and down for a few minutes, then I decided to run and buy them, but then I actually read the summary and felt this strange sort of peace come on me when my eyes fell on this sentence:

Wow. I savored the entire thing. I loved getting into Kai's head and he is really all about sex. Well, he still has some morals but he really does think about it all the time. The fact that it isn’t an act is insanely hot. He is totally the tortured soul.
His reaction to Anna was fantastic. As I read the book and thought back I assumed it went kind of like that, but to read it was a million times better than anything in my head.

See, these kinds of "chapters" bother me because I like them so freaking much, and I know the author isn't just going to write the entire book in his point of view. Oh gosh I wish. If only all the fans could get together and petition for the author to do the book in his point of view... Sigh, as an Ebook, or even by chapters!! It's just frustrating.

Oh my O.o Wendy should have a whole book in Kaidan's POV! I love it! Nothing wrong w/ Anna's POV though. (I've read Sweet Evil 2 times for crying out loud) but I'd read this a dozen more times if it were in that sweet drummer boy's POV. hehe. something sweet and mysterious about it. Though, not a big fan of cussing characters but open to it.

The whole series would be much better, were all the books written in Kaidan's POV. Seriously. I don't like being in Anna's head and this was way better and more interesting.

Spoiler alert!! I was a little shocked when Kai thought Anna was an assassin sent by his dad. But even before that, I was absolutely DISGUSTED and HORRIFIED when I saw the age for Marrisa's "niece". People like them disgust me to no ends. But, I still liked Kai's first impression of Anna. It was funny.

So awesome! I love any time that we can get a bit of the story from another character's POV. But, getting a little look inside Kaiden's head is worth $$$. I am still on the fence about the boy, but getting to "hear" his side of things, does open my eyes a bit. Ladies, hold on to your hats when you read this one!
Surprisingly, the first chapter in Kaidan's POV wasn't actually that bad, considering that I don't like Sweet Evil. Though I still think Kaidan is kinda weird being a male prostitute, it was interesting in his brain...
