Ms. Peck clearly demonstrates the ability to write well but lacks the discipline to avoid redundancy, usually for the purpose of beating a dead horse to underscore the obvious. A good editor could reduce this book to half the nearly 600 pages without losing a single substantive thought and virtually eliminate the 100 or more errors that constantly derail the reader. Since this is my own autobiography, I may be a bit biased. However, I poured all I know about good writing as well as life wisdom into this book, and I do believe it is worthy and inspiring.
