What I liked:
-Writing style. I’m a huge fan of first person and if given the choice, I would pick first person over third any day of the week. To me, first person makes it easier to get inside the mind of the main character, and it makes it easier to show their emotions and how they react to other people.
-Scarlet, Gabby, and Jasmine. I liked the three secondary girls. They were very accepting of who they were and they weren’t ashamed of it. They were beautiful, they were deadly, and they knew it...more

Another amazing book from this awesome sister duo. I was skeptical from the beginning that it wouldn't be something I would enjoy because I'd never been a fan of sea tales. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Surface is one of the best young adult books I have ever read and is a must for those that are already fans of Jody and Jayme Morse.

After reading all their other books I can honestly say i was reserved about this one...BOY WAS I WRONG IT WAS EPIC AS ALWAYS leaving you wanting more!
