Literary Horror... You don't often see those words in each other's company, let alone right next to each other. Genre fiction is typically classified as such and put in that box, out of sight of "serious" literature.

But not here... "The Burning Maiden" is a carefully curated collection of fine writing. The fact that it happens to be chilling and suspenseful is a bonus. This collection of short stories collected in this edition by editor (and contributor) Greg Kishbaugh are thought-provoking triu
This is a wonderful collection of scary stories. The writing is excellent and the stories all have twisted endings that will surprise you and linger in your mind long after you're through reading. Leave the lights on!!
Pretty good book, but more in the horror genre. Not my favorite genre so that probably was why i didn't like it more.
