Have you ever wondered what goes on at office Christmas parties? This story about two men finally getting to talk in a somewhat social setting gives one answer – and it is blissfully far removed from anything human resources would approve of. Naturally, this only works well and without risk in fiction, but I bet there have been some "real life experiments" along exactly the same lines Kim Dare uses here. The result she presents us with in this version is funny, very hot, and provides insight int...more
Another darling short story from Kim Dare. This time it's two guys (co-workers) crushing on each other without either of them having a clue about how the other feels. The Dom decides to just go for it and man is it ever hot. And it all takes place at their employer's Christmas party. Thanks for the early holiday gift, Kim! It was really fun.

This is a very short, very hot story that made me laugh with Mr. Scientific’s admission of how he decided Tom is straight. Because of his faulty scientific conclusion, he believes he is doomed to have only fantasies about the beautiful man he so wants. He is oblivious to Tom’s actions, considering it all just the man being friendly. When Tom asks him to go out for a cigarette break, Adam is more disappointed that his dream man smokes than considering it a come...more

Some minor blips that felt as though a line might be missing. With a story (or an author) like this the emotion is enough to carry me past something like that, though.
In the end this was a cute, if extremely short story. Pretty much a hit-and-run.
Okay, one thing irks me though. Millennia is the plural form. *sigh* Why does this keep cropping up across all kinds of publications?

What do you do at the company Christmas party when the guy you're lusting after, is dyslexic when it comes to reading body language? Read this free short to find out...you'll look askance at the smokers every time they slink outside from now on.
