When I started this book I was a bit unsure if I would like it. It starts out pretty violent and the world is dark. But even though there were some gruesome details I really enjoyed this book. I beta read this book, so my review is based on the beta version of this book, this means it is entirely possible the book is even better when you read it.

The story is so good, the beginning is a bit confusing and I had so many questions about what was happening. But it doesn’t take much time before it starts making sense and then I just wanted to keep reading, because the story was awesome. I wanted to know what was going to happen. I also liked the mystery in this book, there is so much going on and so much that I wanted to know and understand and I just kept firing all of my question towards the author because I couldn’t wait to learn more.

I also liked the fact that we get to see multiple point of views in this book. It makes the story so much better, we even get to see the perspective of the “evil” guys and get to understand a bit of their minds and perspective. I love multiple point of views, although some POV switches where a bit confusing and the author also switched perspective in the same chapter a few times, on the one hand this is a bit confusing, but it also allowed to easily switch perspectives and give both characters opinion of what happened.

At the beginning I wasn’t really interested in the characters, but as the book progresses we learn more about them and I began to like many of them. I still think that some character could’ve used a bit more attention, but the author assured me we get to know them better in the next books. I really liked Ayden, the main character, she is broken, but is also very strong and I liked seeing her develop as the story progresses. I also really liked Annabelle, she is so caring and nice, but also loves to gossip and even though she is a side character I really liked her. And ofcourse I liked Kane, he is thrown into this world from which he knows nothing and he manages to stay a good guy even through everything that happens. Also it felt like all characters had hiding depths and there is more to them than what we learn in this book. We do get some glimpses of the personalities of most of the characters in this book.

The world building is one of the things I love most about this book. The author has created such an interesting world. And even though only small parts of it are explained in this first book, it did capture my attention and I only wanted to know more and understand everything about this world. There are demons and Lycans in this world, but both are different from what you usually read in this genre. I loved the originality of the world and can’t wait to learn more about it.

To conclude: I really enjoyed this book. The story was great and interesting and I couldn’t wait to read more and learn more about it. I really liked the characters and loved seeing multiple perspectives. And the world was so interesting and I wanted to know more about this world than we learn in this book. I can’t wait to see from who’s POV the next book is and what will happen. The ending gave some clues of what is to come and I want to read the next book now!(less)

Forget the yums & yucks. I'm going to ramble. BUT ... um ... where to start?

Wow. Holy Craptastic Batman. Ms. Lake has IT.

I.T. folks - the goods to write one hell of a story, sweep you up in the rush, and leave you panting for more. Few books make me rave. Few books go back on my to-read list the moment I finish it. But Soul Avenged? Oh, yes.

Well, you know when you’ve been warned that a story this way is coming, and it sounds freaking awesome from the description shared, and you seriously cannot wait to get your paws on it, yet at the same time you’re a little scared in case it doesn’t live up to those expectations you’ve built inside your head?
Yeah, I needn’t have had any of those latter-mentioned worries where Soul Avenged was concerned.
Because I loved it.
Being fortunate enough to be a beta reader for this title, I dove into with a critical mind, and in a mode I have trouble switching off if I’m being asked for feedback: Tear this sucker up. However, I truly hadn’t expected to fall in love with the characters quite as much as I did. And, boy, are there a good few characters for the reader to fall in love with.
Because Ayden is ‘staying’ with a houseful (mansionful?) of demons. All of them somewhat appealing—in their own way, of course. All of them somewhat (translate: totally) buff. And all of them with enough individual personalities to identify them by that alone, which means you have a whole trolley-full of differing reasons for why you can’t wait for each of them to get a spotlight and show you just what they can really do/be.
However, they’re not the focus in this delicious title, Ayden is—and she’s mean, she’s tough, she can kick your a$$ with a toothpick if need be, at the same time as being scarred and vulnerable, and so heartbreakingly lost that the reader will have a hard climbing out of her tortured head.
And whilst the male who stars alongside her isn’t one of those said yummy demons, he certainly has more than enough appeal of his own to keep a girl hoping for delivery of a whole vanful of goods. Plus, he can growl. And I love a male who growls. ;)
So, is it just the characters who grabbed my attention and made me rave like a lunatic: Buy this book!
Nah, it also has a decent plot, HOTness, some brilliant world building, HOTness, more than a few surprises—some I may have saw coming; some not so, requisite creepy-egotistical-quite possibly insane-bad guy, HOTness, and Lycans galore. And those lycans? Yeah, not the lovey-dovey-stroke-their-furry kinda wolfiness depicted in a whole lotta books, but mean, rabid, saliva-dripping monsters who you most definitely would reconsider the idea of curling up with under the covers.
Except for one. And he’s one of the surprises. And totally hot. And dude: CAVE SCENE!<Is that everything? Hmmm, I guess so, because I really don’t want to tell you too much about this one, other than: READ IT! And then you’ll want more, and will be able to join my army of nags who’ll demand Ms Lake get her fingers out and provide it.

Soul Avenged has everything a reader could ask for in a story. There's a great story line between the Lycans and the Wrath demons. I love that there's some twist in the story and that Keri added shapeshifters that can change into different creatures.

I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. I couldn't keep my hands off the book. It consumed me from start to the end of the book, there's so much I could say but nothing I would say can give this book the satisfaction it deserves.
I am eager to read the next book and I'm sure it will be just as amazing as this book if not better. The Sons of Wrath are awesome and I can't wait to read each and every book that Keri will write about them.
I have nothing negative to say about this book. The cover of the book is even great. Keri is such an amazing author. She's so different than other authors. I can't wait to see the cover to the next book, wich will be about Login. Keri even surprised us by asking for pics of Alpha males that she will be having her fans pick the male that will be on the cover.
I think Keri Lake is different from other authors, example: Sending fliers out and posting for the pictures of gorgeous, hunky males. How many authors do that, just to put the one that's chosen to be on the cover? She's letting her fans choose.
I see Keri going far as an author and I have this huge feeling that as she continues to write, there will be atleast one book, maybe more turned into a movie. She's an author to watch out for and keep up with.

I'm not going to lie. I have a lil girl-crush on Ayden. She is so entirely kick-ass! Besides being hard-core, Ayden, obviously the central character in Soul Avenged, brought the reader a fabulous gift: selflessness in the face of adversity. Ayden wasn't the only character to reach this lofty goal. Kane, Gavin and Logan (to a certain extent) all managed to put others before themselves. That is one difficult objective to meet, Ms. Lake. Kudos. HEAT INDEX: I'd call this one a 4 out of 5. The last third was smokin', though...and the sexual tension through the entire title was crazy!

There were a few usage errors that made me stop & re-read some passages, but I liked this book sooooo much that my rating hasn't been affected; content definitely trumped the few errors that caught my attention.

Logan, one of the Sons of Wrath, put Calla before himself, and potentially paid the ultimate price. I think we'll have to read the next installment of the Sons of Wrath to see the outcome. I seriously love Logan, though. He's a bit of a free-spirit and a loose cannon. He's loved by his brothers, especially Gavin.

Gavin is obviously in love with Ayden. He wants her to be his mate for eternity. There was a serious love triangle vibe going on when Ayden was staying at the mansion with Kane, though. For the longest time, I didn't know whether Gavin was going to slaughter Kane or not. Because he is a gentleman, and loves Ayden much more than he lets on... well, you'll have to read this title to find out. Just know that Gavin is the sweetest, most compassionate Son of Wrath, in my book. The end practically KILLED me!

Kane. Ya gotta love a dude with the name Kane. I'm immediately flashed to Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld, and the Kane from that series. THIS Kane, however, was turning into a shape-shifting lycan. What I liked the most about this universe is that lycans can shift into any animal – not just wolves. That was definitely a unique spin on the typical werewolf story. I grew to love Kane. While he was held captive by Ayden, he never seemed to focus on the fact that he was captive for his last days as a human. He was selfless in allowing Ayden to view memories, and had no reason to be even polite to her – he was being held prisoner against his will. Even more than that, however, Kane seemed to be the person that wanted Ayden to be more than the cold killing machine she'd been forced to be.

Ayden, the kick-ass heroine of this story was one of the most selfish people I've ever seen in a book until she had an 'aha!' moment toward the end of the story. I didn't like the way she treated ANYONE in this book, but realized at the end that there was sufficient reason for her behavior. I swear, Ayden gave me whiplash. I couldn't decide until at least half-way through the book whether she was going for a HEA with Gavin or Kane. For awhile, I thought there might be some menage going on eventually. I am really glad, however, that Ayden became selfless once she realized who she really DID love. The selflessness that Ayden conjured to save the man she loved was nothing short of inspired. She couldn't allow him to die, and didn't want to live if he died. Argh! No spoilers... Read. This. Book.

I have no idea how I'm going to wait until the next title in the Sons of Wrath series is released. I have to know what happens with.... um. Everyone. If you can't handle major cliffhangers, wait until the next title in the series is released, and check to make sure it's not also a cliffhanger. Adding a new series to my auto-buy! Keri Lake's got it going on with Soul Avenged, and now, since I've finished this title, I'm off to catch up on my sleep.(less)

Pretty close to 4 stars. There was a lot going on in this story. Most of the time, I end up disliking that because, with so many plotlines and characters, things can get messy with the writing and the story just goes downhill as things progress. Fortunately, that wasn't the case with Soul Avenged. Everything came together seamlessly and I ended up loving the side plots as well.

The writing was really good. There was never a dull moment and the tone was great. The story has a dark, gritty feel, but it also has light, funny moments that work really well. I'll admit that the plot seems really simple, but as the story progresses, things become really complicated as far as resolution goes, and I appreciated that, the sense of things building up as the story progressed. The world building was good and I hope for more as the series continues. There's so much story potential for the next books too.

I don't want to give too much away because I feel like the summary for this book is perfect. The mystery is half the fun. I will say that I loved the last third of the book and there were actually some things I didn't have figured out. I felt like the progression between Kane and Ayden was done in a really good way. Some people may dislike that Ayden's quest for answers and development, past and present, actually take priority, but I loved it.

As far as the main characters for book one goes, I ended up loving Kane. I thought he was funny and endearing. I liked the way he dealt with everything. It took a little longer for Ayden to grow on me. I thought she was unecessarily rude at times and she contradicted herself alot. Sometimes her anger just didn't feel genuine. I'm still not completely sold on her, but she was better by the end of the story.

I have to give a shout out to the side characters. They really have their moments in this book that, for me, made me excited to read more about them. I can only assume they will be getting their own stories and I thought the set up was great. I'm a bit peeved that the author saved some of the best stuff for the last third of the book, but of course that's how it should be. I recommend this series to those looking for a new urban fantasy and paranormal romance series worth the read.(less)

(view spoiler)[I love the ideas that make up the foundations of the story. I care about the characters and I want to know more about them. The Demon and Lycan cultures are interesting and I want to know more about how it works. I’ve only gained a small glimpse of the Lycan world and a larger piece of the Demons. Keri has a different take on both that captures my attention and has me looking forward to more.

Although Ayden is the pivotal figure of the story, I am much more interested in the Wrath brothers and Kane. Ayden is a hardass! She’s a prickly cactus that’s hard to love, but the demon brothers and Kane show multiple aspects and their personalities totally engaged my imagination! All of the men live life to the fullest. Each one embracing and expressing their individual ideals in ways that’s unique to them. In Soul Avenged, I only got a taste of who they are and a glimpse of their story. I want more!

So much happens! I wonder how Ayden will grow as a character. It’s hard to care about a character who tries to be a blood thirsty killer and works hard to not feel anything that isn’t the drive to kill. Kane changes all of that and I definitely rooted for that guy! Of all the important characters, there are only small glimpses into Ayden. What’s she going to be like in the next book? I want to know because I like seeing the layers.

The first chapter is disorientating because of the perspective changes going from internal dialogue to limited third person viewpoint. It’s like I’m thrown into an ongoing conversation without a point of origin and I’m left to flounder around like a fish out of water until I connect inconsequential dots. Instead of being immersed in a high tension scene with intense emotions, I’m mostly apathetic. Why should I care that a killer is in a disgusting factory full of homeless people that serve as bait for pillaging Lycans? Why should I care when the female killer wants to kill a Lycan victim? There was no reason for me to connect with any of the characters or the quick fight scene.

It’s cool that Lycans can change into any animal shape. The possibilities are endless! I also like that it takes a bite victim seven days to completely change and that there are definitive changes in physiology, mind, emotions and driving instincts. You’re not just human anymore, but you’re not a just an animal either.

While I like the insight I gained into the characters by the internal dialogue, I felt that was overdone at points in a redundant or overly descriptive or explanatory manner. Sometimes, I need a little mystery. I want to be teased by a drop of information and lured to see where it leads.

Logan! NOOOOOOO! I have my fingers crossed for you!

Calla is a rather useless character. I feel like that’s a setup to make Logan and Calla to bond. I’m not sure how I feel about that. Gavin is awesome and I hope he ends up with the Sabelle. I can’t WAIT for Zeke to fall in love. I hope he suffers just a tiny, little bit and have the guys snorting with love. I mean, that lust-maniac deserves to feel the tender mercies of love and the emotional roller coaster we all know well. Hahahah!

Kudos for weaving a subtle plot line about Wade being the mastermind behind the calculated attacks. I was guessing that was the case for Ayden but I didn’t draw the conclusion he was controlling as much as he did. Draven getting into the Wrath household seemed pretty weak to me. Plus, I had a hard time believing Draven could attack Calla with so little interference. The Demon brothers are smart and Bennett isn’t a pushover. I had a hard time swallowing those scenes. Don’t you know that you have me fully believing in their abilities to instill fear and kick supernatural butt?!? (hide spoiler)]

The story flow wasn’t completely smooth but there’s such strong elements that I have to give this book 4 stars! I can’t wait for the next book to come out and read more about the group of misfits that I’ve come to like a lot.

I knew when I saw the daunting length and the glossary at the beginning of this book that this was not going to be a light read, and oh was that ever true! But there is no doubt at any point in this story how much painstaking effort was put into making every detail come together perfectly in this twisted world, and I was wholly impressed. With such vivid descriptions of the disturbing existence these characters experience, and the terrifying creatures that they encounter, I felt like I was diving right into their world with them every time I went back for more.

Ayden was phenomenal as the kick-ass heroine who's life had been turned upside down at the hands of one of the very beasts she hunts. Her only memory of her life before becoming an Alexi was the attack itself, thanks to biochemist General Jackson Wade reprogramming and "reconditioning" her to be the ultimate soldier. Giving them the lywa antibody, victims of lycan bites can resist their venom and survive to join Wade's army against the lycans. Ayden was a prize creation, the first successful surviving immortal and truly a fearless, gifted fighter. Her singular purpose of hunting down the lycan who killed her was what found her a deserter of the Alexi army, relying on the aid of the sons of demon prince Wrath to find her vengeance. But her plans took an unexpected turn when she stumbled upon Kane, a halfling completely clueless to the supernatural world, but who seems to hold a key to her memories. That is, if she doesn't kill him first.

The reader is as blind as Ayden is to her past, and I really liked that clues were slowly revealed through Ayden's dreams and her resurfacing memories. The puzzle was being put together piece by piece, and the revelations and twists kept me completely engrossed. There were a lot of parts to this story running parallel at any given time, and the intricate way they all weaved together in the end was just brilliant!

I have no doubt that readers will fall hard for the drool-worthy men in this story, because Kane and the sons of Wrath are paranormal romance perfection!! The Wrath brothers oozed sex appeal and make you weak at the knees with their intimidating presence, and Kane really took me by surprise as he went from Ayden's hot captive to a dominating beast of a leading man. There were some deliciously steamy moments between these two, and there's no doubt we'll be seeing the same from the tempting demons later in this series!

Soul Avenged was an incredible story that will be a huge hit for paranormal romance fans, and I absolutely loved it. I am very much looking forward to getting my hands on the next book in this series when it comes out, because I definitely need more of the Wrath brothers!!

With the reader just as clueless as Ayden to her past life, reader and protagonist become as one. Each revelation is as shocking as to Ayden as it is for the reader. Not knowing what happened to her past creates the same kind of feeling that Ayden is going through. It made her quest for vengeance that more compelling and interesting.

Soul Avenged offers a wide range of appeal for readers. The paranormal aspect of this incredible story take a familiar story and twists it in unimaginable ways that it feels like its brand new. The characters are unforgettable and readers are invested in their every move. I truly felt the wrath that this book unleashed. It let loose new levels of excitement, danger and romance.(less)

Soul Avenged follows Ayden, a woman who had lost her family to a horrible werewolf attack and who is now hunting them down. She has an interesting contract with a group of demons known as the Sons of Wrath, who help her on her mission. One night hunting she finds a newly turned man who has only a few days left until he turns into the beast she hates. But there is one thing off about him; every time she touches him she gets visions of something familiar. Now she thinks this man is her only hope of finding out who killed her family.

Ayden is a complicated character; the readers right from the start know that she can take care of her self and that all she wants to do is kill. When she meets Kane, who is a soon to be werewolf, she wants answers to the visions. But she also has so much hatred towards him that we get some great love hate action from them when they argue. The readers slowly unfold what happened in her past, who is connected, and why she is also running from a group she once trusted called the Alexi. But I feel all the best scenes were whenever she was with one of the Sons of Wrath, especially Gavin. I was surprised that this series focused on Ayden and not more on the Sons, but I feel this was still a good introduction to them.

Kane is the man Ayden and the Sons find one night. Once a doctor and now being threatened by Ayden, he really isn’t having a great day when the readers first meet him. I liked that even though he expected to die soon he still had a great snarky personality with Ayden. He was a good counterpart for her hateful mood, it seemed he couldn’t resist frustrating her. Their chemistry isn’t instant and the readers will be happy to see a nicely paced development in their relationship. His character I felt had the most change through out the story, the readers get to see him change from a weaker man to a powerful one.

Gavin is one of the many Sons of Wrath, I felt I should mention him a bit because he’s an important part of Aydens life. He care deeply for her, even though they have a contract I feel he’d do anything she’s ask without getting anything in return. I loved how even though he’s a bit of a ladies man, he was always there to have her and his brothers backs. I can’t wait for the story that focuses on him. He is joined by his is brother Logan, a extremely moody guy, Calix who I adored for his sweet persona, Zeke is a player and a bad boy down to the core, and Zayne who has a sad history but I feel the readers will get more about him later. Each demon I can tell will have their own story. I feel like the readers really got to know Gavin and Logan the best and either of these two will be in the next book as the lead. I have to say even though he may be a jerk sometimes I can’t wait for some more Logan after an interesting turn around occurs with him.

Overall I loved the concept of the demons of Wrath being the focus. It’s 100% urban fantasy adding in some seriously great twist in some of the characters storyline. I wished the story focused on the Sons more but I enjoyed the mystery behind what happened to Ayden and if she could help this lost wolf she found. The baddies were super evil and Lake did a fantastic job in making the readers hate the villains and hope that Ayden and the boys teach them a lesson. In the end this story is heavy on character development and makes the readers get attached to each one for their own special trait and suspenseful plot that connects them all. I can’t wait for the next book!

RECOMMENDATION:
This is an adult urban fantasy that has sexual content meant for a mature audience. Fans of Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld series and Kresley Coles Immortals After Dark series will love Soul Avenged (Sons of Wrath) by Keri Lake.

First off I want to say I really enjoyed the world that Keri developed for this book. It was really fun to go along for the ride with her cast of characters. One of things I think I appreciate the most though, was that a book about Lycans was not just a book with only Lycans. I love paranormal/urban fantasy books that don't limit themselves to just one type of supernatural. It's always so much more fun for me as a reader to see more than just one kind of supernatural, and I think it makes the world they all live in all the more complex and exciting.

Another thing I really like about this book is that there are multiple POVs in the book. I think multiple POVs can either be great or go horribly wrong. Keri did a great job with it though, it let me build great connections to the characters in her book, all the while it didn't leave me confused about who was talking or too overloaded with random information. It was really nice and refreshing to see it done so well.

Okay so now for the main characters, Ayden is a pretty strong chick. I love a strong butt kicking chick who doesn't spend her entire life moaning and whining over a guy, and Ayden totally fits that bill. I think another thing that makes her a great character is that she has a mission that is understandable to the reader. You can really understand from the beginning why she is the way she is, and it makes her story so much better, and as a reader it is so easy to form a connection with her. As for Kane, well you can't really help but like him. He has found himself in well not the best of situations, so that alone makes it easy to feel for him. And I think it also helps that Ayden and Kane together make this great combination that really makes the two of them pop off the page when they are together.

Keri also has a great cast of secondary characters, and I could tell you all about each and every one of them, but for me I think the secondary characters add this great dimension to the book and I don't want to ruin them for you. Overall I have to say it was a really enjoyable read, and a pretty solid foundation for the series. You can tell with this first book that this series is going to just get better as it goes along, so check it out!(less)

Holy cow what a cast of characters. Ayden is a woman I could love. She is tough doesn't back down from a fight and even goes looking for them. She is tough as nails and not afraid to jump in. yes that isn't unusual in these kinds of books but you get to see her transform as you read. You get to see a vulnerable side as the glimpses open her up to things she may not want to see. You also get to see her soft side as she fights for those she loves. Also have to say she is sexy as they come. Kane is smart, wants to help children and sick people, good looking and has a smart mouth on him as well. He also will not back down even when he knows he is going to be killed he won't back down. He does his best to fight the evil growing inside. He also has some great moves in the bedroom. Instead of going into all the sons of Wrath Demons all I will say these demons are beyond sexy. I want more of them!

This book starts off with a bang and doesn't stop. All the sexy men make it worth reading but they are a small part to the book. The story reads so well and will put you in a trance. Actually I think one of those demons put a curse to make you fall in love with the book cause I did. The action scenes are so awesome you feel like jumping right in the battle with Ayden. You cheer her on she really has to battle all her past enemies. There is a mystery to the book as you have to figure out just what the flashes she sees are all about. You really get a great feel for this book and I hope it continues for a while. I want to see what she and those demons get into next. I want to read each brothers story now. I won't give spoilers so to wrap this up if your looking for a great action paranormal romance with hot lycans, demons and woman pick this up. You won't want it to end I didn't.(less)

Then we have the Sons of Wrath, there is a total of six of them, and each one of them exude sex appeal. Usually I don't like reading books with so many future-hero-to-be waving for attention, it kinds of distract us away from the main H/h. Although the Sons of Wrath do take some of the page time for us to get to know them, I really enjoy all their multiple POVs. Even the villains are fleshed out and we understand their motivation. Well, except for Draven, the Alexi soldier. I think his POV can be cut short. We have Gavin, the eldest brother, Zeke, the man-whore, Logan, the asshole, Zayne, the heartbroken one, and.... sorry I couldn't remember.

Kane, a doctor leaving a night shift got attack and bitten by Lycan and his life practically turns into hell. He got kidnap by this violent woman back to a demon lair and thrown into this supernatural world. Initially I expect him to be wallowing in self-pity and at the brink of suicidal from the way the demons taunted him and Ayden giving him shit. But I was surprise to find him acting all upbeat and carefree for a man who was going to die in a week time. He definitely was enjoying his last day of living. Yeah, that's what Ayden had been threatening all along. Kill him when he finally turned into a full blown Lycan in a week.

Initially I dislike Ayden for treating the Kane, the poor innocent man like shit. I don't understand why she hated him so much. The only reason she didn't kill him on sight is because when she accidentally came in contact with him, she had some vision that she can't explain herself. To satisfy her own curiosity, she decided to keep him alive for a week and use him to help her locate the Lycan that attack her three years ago.

We later learned the reason behind Ayden's extreme hatred towards Lycan and why she acted the way she is when she first met Kane. Although the first half of the book was focus more on the Wrath brothers, I felt that Ayden and Kane did get sufficient time to build up their relationship. She started wanting to kill him, to hating him, to being annoyed by him, then understanding him and finally loving him. The way they interact with each other is fun to read because Kane keeps annoying the hell out of her. She don't understand how a dead man can be so cheerful. He is this bright spot that appear in her life full of darkness and gloom.

"I think hell welcomed you a long time ago, baby."
"How dare you call me baby, you filthy wolf."
"Lycan"
She leaned forward. "Same damn thing, moron."

The first half of the book Kane spent most of his time being handcuffed to bed. Wink wink. The second half is where the action starts. Kane is turning from a weak human into a full blown Lycan and goes all berserk! Wow! He is afraid that he will end up killing innocent people when he turned. My eyes goes misty when both Ayden and Kane wanted to sacrifice themselves for each other. At the same time I also had a wide grin because Ayden finally starts to feel.

Of course, we also have Gavin, the eldest Wrath brother. He is this perfect alpha hero that exude dominance and authority. He used to be Ayden's lover, but when he wants her to be his permanent mate, she back out. I knew from the start that no matter how awesome he is, he won't get Ayden. But anyway, from the progress of this story, I'm sure he had a story later on Sabelle, the succubus. For the brief time that she appeared near the ending, her presence intrigue me. I hope that the next book will be of Gavin and Sabelle.

Now that I finished the book, I only realize is 500+ pages. I never notice it because I'm reading from my Kindle and I just breeze through the pages in two days. There are so many things going on without any dull moments. Well, except for Draven's POV. Okay, I should stop mentioning the name of someone I hate. Anyway, go read this!(less)

Got this as a Goodreads First Reads Giveaway (my first!) Overall it was an ok read--it was uneven to me--so there were *really* good parts, and some not so good parts.
