Here's what a friend said about Seeing Through Death Into Life: "Riveting. Eloquent. Brave. Direct and Honest. Powerful. Your book has touched my heart."

Another wrote, "Invites readers to take their own journey into a deeper mystery that holds and transcends both life and death."

Kirkus Reviews said "beautiful, thoughtful voice - the perfect balance of heartfelt and factual. . . achiev[es] an inspiring depth of spirit."

Overall I enjoyed this read and appreciated Verona Rylander sharing her story. Nonetheless, at points during the read I felt that Rylander was selfish in her dealing with her husbands illness. She did handle the situation the best that she could and joining her on her journey reminds us all that as humans we are imperfect but we can still love.
Melvina Davis
In this heartfelt memoir Verona Rylander gives an honest account of the feelings and thoughts a wife, a caregiver, lives with as she sits by her husband through illness, remission and finally death. This book is a must read for anyone going through the dying process with a loved one.
