A NYC detective, on the trail of a jewel thief, rescues a shallow Manolo-obsessed young woman who has climbed out on a ledge to retrieve her Hermes scarf. She's the prime suspect, but they fall for each other, give up their most intimate secrets, and have three or four very explicit sexual encounters.

I don't remember how this bodice-ripper yarn found its way to my Kindle. But I should have realized that it was a Harlequin Romance. Not much of a mystery, but entertaining in its explicitness.
This one has a girl who's afraid of commitment and a guy who wants it but believes she's up to no good.

She nursed for 20 years, working in a variety of settings from the newborn nursery to the recovery room, to dialysis. But she never lost her desire to write.

She sold her first book in 1994 to Silhouette Romance but later dis...more
