This book is really cute! My classmates introduced me to this book in a fine arts class. They presented a puppet show with this book that was really creative. I liked how this book presented going to the doctor from a child's point of view. The fear of shots and other unpleasant experiences at the doctor are explained and given a positive view point. This book explains a child's fear of going to the doctor in a hilarious, easy to understand way. Froggy provides for some great entertainment at the doctor's office, too, as he forgot to wear underwear to the doctor and his mom had to make some out of paper for him. My boys LOVED that part! Cute and funny read.
Froggy is not happy to have to see the Doctor. She is also the wife to his principal, Dr. Mugwort. He sees Frogilina at the doctor office. Froggy is happy that he is healthy.

Today a student handed in this book stating that this book should be very popular... i asked why she said that it was very funny and she liked it... so i read the book quickly and found it endearing and cute. the kid sure had a good review for it.
My kids recently discovered these books and love them. They are rather fun, and even our little two-year old will repeat words that get repeated throughout the book. It's pretty cute. Definitely a kid favorite.
My favorite froggy book so far. Even Lance laughed when he read this one to Eden and he normally thinks Froggy is a bad example (too disobedient) and a bit annoying.
I recommend all of the Froggy books because they're fun to read! They are full of action words and Froggy is always doing something to get you laughing.
Funny book for 3 to 3rd grade. Unexpected underwear scene in the book. Good book for sound words and teaching how to read with expression.
Very funny parts make this a great read aloud. You can really ham it up. Froggy is nervous about going to the dr.
Froggy Goes to the Docotr is a great book for making connections. Primary students really enjoy the Froggy series.
Froggy is an active frog who has to have a check-up. He causes some mishaps while in the doctor's office.

An engaging book. Could certainly be a help to prepare kids for doctor visits.

I saw this book used in my observation of a preschool class, and it was really cool the way they incorporated it. They had an actual pediatrician come in and she read them this book, which is all about going to the doctor, and then she showed them all of her "doctor tools" and let the kids use them. It was a really neat lesson. This book is also a really good one to read to younger kids to let them know that the doctor isn't scary. This book is great for discussing visiting the Doctor and routine visits that helps keeps us healthy. Students may have anxieties about seeing a doctor because they think they may be receiveing a shot. This book is also great for making connection to life.
This book would be a great way to help youngsters with their fear of going to the doctor. This would be a great book to use during Health.
viv loves froggy and loves doctors so of course, this was a hit in our house. froggy is just going for his physical.
