This is an interesting book as I am middle age and heard about it through an event I attended for of all things, wine. The author was selling the book at a wine related event and I thought at first, this is odd sort of thing, but upon reading it, I see where the link or connection was. He is a wine maker and relates each of his experiences with women to a grape or wine they most represent. I thought that was very clever and smart.

First off, I was expecting a completely different type of book. From the title and the cover, I thought it would be an updated, hip “Sex & The Single Girl (Man)” in the 21st century from an older male’s point of view. Boy, was I wrong!!! Although there are some (meaning few) humorous episodes, it really is a catharsis of the author’s involvement with a very dysfunctional female.
