I loved this book, and found it very interesting. It is an excellent addition for any beginning to young reader's library. The book is a historic and engaging account of Ellisville, Mississippi. The author has incorporated both facts and photos to create an easy yet informative read. The book’s alphabetic structure reinforces a young reader's knowledge of the alphabet and would be an excellent tool for children just beginning to learn their ABCs. Ginny Cruz was born in Ellisville, Mississippi and has enjoyed a life-long love affair with books. She graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelors of Health Sciences Degree in Physical Therapy and is a Board-Certified Pediatric Specialist.

Ginny has enjoyed success with writing articles for her profession and has, only recently, delved into creative writing.
