This collection hovers somewhere between meat and mineral, urban and rural, real and not, visible and imagined. There’s a sort of tender brutality between the lines, something that is (perhaps) half-asleep. This’ll probably be of interest to people who liked Siken’s Crush, although it’s not terribly similar on a surface level.
