I've picked this up in the library and read it in the German version.

This is a dramatic romantic story about - as you can guess from the book title - Tristan and Isolde.

I'm normally not into the older romantic stories but for some reason this had something that I liked and thought interesting at that time.

If you like Shakespeare's romantic novels, I suppose you would like this one, too.

It was a beautiful history about endless love, jealous, in the middle age with knights. It's about a beautiul princess, and... I don't know, he is just Tristan. I shocked because of the end, but than I thought in. It's the most beautiful death. When you die together. I didn't understood Isolde the white-handed, but it's just jealous. I can understand her. Love someone, who loves someone else. That is a uncomfortable feeling.
