Despite quite an outrageous synopsis for the series I was very pleasantly surprised by this collection and I enjoyed it very much. From small acorns do giant oak trees grow and that is so true of this story which starts off fairly innocuously with Lucy working a dead end job with a bit of a crush on the guy she rides the elevator with every day and ends up with an explosive, high action suspense plot.

I think we've all been where Lucy is at the beginning at the novel at some time in our lives - h

Lucy Delacourt works as a temp doing data entry at a large firm. It's a job. But it helps to get through the day when she can ogle the gorgeous guy she sees each morning in the elevator. Then one morning in the elevator when she and the stranger are alone, he sexually seduces her. That evening after work in the carpark, he seduces her again. Both times she's shocked but willing.

When Lucy is asked into the offices of Jeremiah Hamilton, CEO of Hamilton Industries, the firm she works for,

Initial reaction: Here's a thought I'll leave you with in the time I mull over how I'm going to write my full review on "Anything He Wants", I get there are a lot of erotic novels that are penned for the sake of engaging the sensual variety. But ladies, gents, those who peruse the erotic genre - if you're going to have your two characters engage in sexy times in your novel, that's no reason to totally skimp on character development and interaction, and completely indulge in Mary Sueish fantasies ...more
2 stars - OK, I guess. A few things did not sit well with me.

Hmmm…I’m having a déjà lu (as opposed to déjà vu) moment. Have I read this book before? Or something very much like it? I really wanted to like this book; I had high hopes. Unfortunately, this book read very much like a fan fiction.

Anything He Wants: Dominated by the Millionaire is the story of Lucy Delacourt, a young temp. Every morning she rides the elevator with a very handsome stranger. He notices her, and is attracted to her, and

"Anything I want." Wow, shivers! Jeremiah is a great character. I just wanted to say before the rest of the review how much I grew to like him, though I had misgivings for quite a bit of the first part of the book.

I could definitely tell that this book was written in different parts. I originally thought I wanted to write a review for this treating it as a whole, but I just don't think it's possible. There are some really definitive lines that separate each part from th

A cliffhanger?!? Seriously!?!

Ok, I've got to take some of the blame for this. I read the first part if the book when it can out in serial form. I'm not a fan of serial books, so I didn't keep up with the story. When I saw they were out in one book, I ASSumed it would be the whole story. Nope. While it is a books worth, it's apparently far from the end of the story, which really ticks me off.

As for the story itself. The beginning was, well, ok. There was insta-attraction which translates into so

This is a straight up Fifty Shades of Grey knockoff. Like, there is no hiding it. There's even a helicopter scene, kind of like The Bachelor but also like FSOG.

Things this book includes:
1. Betrayal
2. Assassin
3. Poisoned champagne
4. A Frenchman named Gaspard.
5. Snipers
6. Former Army Rangers
7. A brother arms dealer whose nickname is Loki
8. A mostly evil mother
9. A sexy boat house scene, like FSOG
10. A parking garage scene like FSOG
11. Damsel in distress, multiple times, like FSOG
12. A jealous form

Okay ladies, you know how we are always looking for that next fix after Fifty? Well, this book helped me get mine. There are a few Christian qualities to Mr. Hamilton and I could not help but think of our Mr. Grey several times while reading.

The one thing that I loved with this book was the little tads of humor thrown in here and there. The main character of Lucy is a tad bit snarky, but, also a tad submissive. She often wonders to herself if she could take much more of Jeramiah’s clipped tone a

I received a copy of this book from Net Galley.

While I appreciate receiving a free copy of this book, I cannot recommend it. I suffered through it and ended up finishing it by skimming the last half while watching television. This is yet another example of the Fifty Shades of Grey-like books out there and a particularly egregious example at that. In the book's defense, maybe it's me? Maybe I'm just over this particular formulaic love story/fantasy dynamic, maybe I was never that into it to begi

OK, I am going to give this story 4 stars for 'steaminess' but only 3.5 for originality of the story. While this was a good, entertaining read it seems to fall into the ever growing Fifty Shades genre. Not that I am complaining mind you, because that is a yummy genre and all but I am finding I need something a little more occasionally.

This is actually a compilation of 5 novella's into one and like I said, while it was steamy, the story didn't really get gripping for me until the last story. Whic

This book was very... unexpected. I was expecting this to be a very "meh" read but it was actually quite.. good. The sex scenes were explosive and very well written, I found myself very shocked at the first scene.
“I can smell your arousal,” he growled, that low sexy voice making my stomach tighten. “Every morning you get on this elevator and I can smell your need.” One hand moved down and entwined with mine as he dipped his head toward my neck. “What’s your name?” My mind went blank for a momen

The one star is only because I have to fill something in--nothing more.

I requested this book so I really only have myself to blame, I suppose. The summary sounded good, although a little too much like Shades and that itself should have warned me to stay away. But I didn’t; I was desperate for some erotica. I think I could have liked this book until I read this line…

“His casual dismissal annoyed me.”

What a hot, steamy, captivating read!

Anything He Wants is told from the point of view of our heroine, Lucy, who is a bit down on her luck after dropping out of college due to a family tragedy. She is currently working as a temp where she is captivated every morning by a dark stranger in the elevator. After a couple of very steamy encounters in semi-public places, Lucy discovers that her dark stranger is the CEO of the company, Jeremiah Hamilton. Jeremiah advises Lucy that her temp po

I received this book to review through Netgalley. It was originally a 5 part series of novellas and was picked up by a publisher and now all books were combined into one. I have to admit that I liked it this way because the story was able to flow nicely together rather than having to wait for the next novella to come out and be frustrated in the process!

Some of my favorite authors are published by St Martin's Press, and so when I came across this title I thought that this might be a good example of the emerging Fifty Shades of Grey sub-genre.

All the elements are there: a very, very rich and handsome man, absurdly young to have accomplished so much, but then he is very driven, mostly by anger. He has never had any interest in a serious or permanent relationship -- until one day he meets, totally by accident, a young woman who immediately engages

I'm not sure if I read the same story as all of the top reviewers. This is a completed edition consisting of 5 segments previously written separately. I was expecting the billionaire/damsel in distress characters. But there was no chemistry. I actually found myself getting mad at the degrading and frankly criminal abuse. Hoping to God that there was a really really big change of direction coming. Sadly, nothing changes.

Fawkes grabs your attention on the first pages with a really hot elevator scene! After reading that scene I thought, "You have my attention!". Frankly, Fawkes didn't let me go until the last page and I was still thinking about this book long after I'd finished.

This was suggested to me by another voracious smut reader, so I had high hopes that it would be good. Maybe I had my hopes up too high because aside from wanting my own billionaire to dominate me in an elevator, a limo, an office, the bedroom, etc, I was left wanting to know more about that billionaire. I never really got to like him because I never got to know him. I also found that the first half of the book didn't seem to match with what happens at the end of the book. Lucy Delacourt thinks the same about Jeremiah Hamilton the only difference is Jeremiah thinks the same about Lucy but he does something about it.

The story starts off at a good pace and drew me in so much I was still reading at 0130. Lots of chemistry between Lucy & Jeremiah and great thriller situations thrown in. All wrapped up in a story that twisted and flowed we

Basically it's Fifty Shades theme .
Yea you get the gist.

Supposedly innocent girls who doesn't act so wantonly "suddenly" found themselves tangled in contracts to do anything the dominating billionaire wants. The story goes on....

But the sixth book (pt1 and pt2) is much more interesting to read than the first 5.
Lucas is a much more dynamic character than others.
