Becs - Sinfully Sexy Book Reviews
Despite quite an outrageous synopsis for the series I was very pleasantly surprised by this collection and I enjoyed it very much. From small acorns do giant oak trees grow and that is so true of this story which starts off fairly innocuously with Lucy working a dead end job with a bit of a crush on the guy she rides the elevator with every day and ends up with an explosive, high action suspense plot.

I think we've all been where Lucy is at the beginning at the novel at some time in our lives - h...more

Lucy Delacourt works as a temp doing data entry at a large firm. It's a job. But it helps to get through the day when she can ogle the gorgeous guy she sees each morning in the elevator. Then one morning in the elevator when she and the stranger are alone, he sexually seduces her. That evening after work in the carpark, he seduces her again. Both times she's shocked but willing.

When Lucy is asked into the offices of Jeremiah Hamilton, CEO of Hamilton Industries, the firm she works for,...more

2 stars - OK, I guess. A few things did not sit well with me.

Hmmm…I’m having a déjà lu (as opposed to déjà vu) moment. Have I read this book before? Or something very much like it? I really wanted to like this book; I had high hopes. Unfortunately, this book read very much like a fan fiction.

Anything He Wants: Dominated by the Millionaire is the story of Lucy Delacourt, a young temp. Every morning she rides the elevator with a very handsome stranger. He notices her, and is attracted to her, and...more

"Anything I want." Wow, shivers! Jeremiah is a great character. I just wanted to say before the rest of the review how much I grew to like him, though I had misgivings for quite a bit of the first part of the book.

I could definitely tell that this book was written in different parts. I originally thought I wanted to write a review for this treating it as a whole, but I just don't think it's possible. There are some really definitive lines that separate each part from th...more

Why oh why did I read this book again? I didn’t like it the first time, when it was called FIFTY SHADES OF GREY! I'm such a masochist. Oh well, at least it's free.

Initial reaction: Here's a thought I'll leave you with in the time I mull over how I'm going to write my full review on "Anything He Wants", I get there are a lot of erotic novels that are penned for the sake of engaging the sensual variety. But ladies, gents, those who peruse the erotic genre - if you're going to have your two characters engage in sexy times in your novel, that's no reason to totally skimp on character development and interaction, and completely indulge in Mary Sueish fantasies...more

J'ai aimé...more

I'm not sure if I read the same story as all of the top reviewers. This is a completed edition consisting of 5 segments previously written separately. I was expecting the billionaire/damsel in distress characters. But there was no chemistry. I actually found myself getting mad at the degrading and frankly criminal abuse. Hoping to God that there was a really really big change of direction coming. Sadly, nothing changes.
When I first read FSOG, It became blatantly obvious within the first few page...more

A cliffhanger?!? Seriously!?!

Ok, I've got to take some of the blame for this. I read the first part if the book when it can out in serial form. I'm not a fan of serial books, so I didn't keep up with the story. When I saw they were out in one book, I ASSumed it would be the whole story. Nope. While it is a books worth, it's apparently far from the end of the story, which really ticks me off.

As for the story itself. The beginning was, well, ok. There was insta-attraction which translates into so...more

If you like Fifty Shades and the Crossfire series then you will like this book. It is about a rich man with issues who falls in love with a simple girl. It was a cute story and one that i liked but the beginning moved too fast for me. I would have liked there to be more foreplay and flirting. I just felt it was a bit rushed.

The only problem I had with this book was the ending... if you can call it that. The book just stops with a cliff hanger, that leaves you wanting to know more. So naturally w...more

WHAT?! It doesn’t end?!

I am not sure I would have picked up Anything He Wants if I knew there was a cliff-hanger ending!!!

**Hair-Pulling**

Okay, let’s get serious, Anything he Wants is no epic book, it’s a short, sweet read that gets your Fifty Shades and Bared to you fix. I knew this, but I thought it ends… okay I need to get over it.

Fawkes jumps on the BDSM band wagon and I’m all for the dominated wealthy man with kinks, BUT it didn’t quite tie all together. The pace was too fast, the...more

Ok...First let me say I really enjoyed this book. From the get go it is a great read. It starts out with a bang and just keeps going. Their was not one page of this book that did not entertain. From the sex to the emotions and the suspense of what was going on. The sex in this books grabs your attention and just won't let you go. The emotions displayed by both Jeremiah and Lucy was described so well that you could feel what they felt and that made me know them better. I loved Lucas's smart mouth...more

I had been dying to start this series ever since I saw it offered on Amazon as short novels in a series. I kept telling myself that I would wait until they were all released before deciding if I wanted to purchase them. Then I noticed in the store that they had packaged them all in one print book and decided to risk it.

Right after the first chapter I knew I was going to have problems with this book. The writing was contradictory in so many things. One minute she is an innocent heroine with litt...more

First off, I'm not a fan of serialized books, as Anything He Wants was first sold. There are plenty of other reviewers of this book who are clearly frustrated with this sales tactic. I figure you vote with your wallet and I chose to wait til this book was out as a whole. Having said that, I won't comment further on serialized novels.

Romance is escapism, pure and simple. Sometimes we escape to a world where everyone is beautiful and no one ever gets hurt (not really, anyway, think Debbie Macombe...more

The writing is amateurish and with little depth. The plot insulting. A girl, Lucy Delacourt, in early 20s, in financial straits. Cue melodramatic music.

Girl is lusting from afar from a man in the building where she works. One day, he catches her in the elevator. (Aerosmith did it better). It is followed by another simplistic scene.

She is then brought to the office of the company's CEO where she has been tempting. The man she's been lusting after is the CEO and a billionaire - Jeremiah Hamilton...more

OMG! This book is HOT HOT HOT! I myself is a hopeless romantic as this book made my heart melt and kept me up all night reading and filled in absolute suspense. The romance between Lucy Delacourt's boss Jeremiah Hamilton is definitely a fairytale and very sexual. This book is definitely a descriptive and detailed one so be ready to visualize a lot of things. Yet I adore the action this book has wrapped around. I myself would have my mouth drooling and my skin appearing with goosebumps on the ele...more

Hands down this was probably without a doubt one of the best written erotica novels I had ever read. Sure there was a lot of sex in it, but that's part of this genre. It had some wishfillment elements to the story, but I could deal with that since the plot and writing style was good.

Some of the book points I liked was that both characters had some flaws and were developed. I actually liked both of them and would love to see a series with both of them. I really liked that Lucy was easy to relate...more

Lucy Delacourt has a temporary job she doesn’t like and that barely allows her to pay her bills. The only thing she has to look forward on her working days is the lift ride up to the floor where she works and the gorgeous man she will be able to look at during those short moments, provided she times her arrival right. When one morning only Lucy and the mystery man remain on the lift he stops its ascent, approaches her and brings her to a shocking orgasm, all without Lucy discovering who he actua...more

I liked the book in summary it keeps to the premise of all romance novels: poor seemingly smart girl meets a mysterious young hot rich man who's hung like a donkey and he wisks her away from her mediocre life and showers her with nice material things oh and they bang like crazy. I just described 90 percent of romance/erotica novels and this one is no different except that it has it's own twist. Anything he wants is not a love story its more of a lust story which makes more sense and is a bit mor...more

I read my first physical book in a long while yesterday. I have been reading everything on my kindle ever since I got it but when I was on Amazon looking at Black Friday deals I saw the book Anything He Wants by Sarah Fawkes on sale so I went ahead and got it. It was a rare occasion in which the physical book was cheaper than the kindle edition. I honestly had no idea what to expect from it. I of course read the description but it was really the fact that this book was first self-published. I am...more

I can't put this one in my favorites.

I did get into the story. It has a Fifty Shades feel to it. However, this book is so emotionally unattached. By that I mean, clearly Lucy fell for Jeremiah. I completely understand that and her feelings. (Even though I think she gave it up to him too easily and would have liked to see her tell him "No" once in a God damn while. Dang girl! Pushover!!!!!)

So I understand her feelings towards him. He saved her, protected her, and made her feel wanted. For her to...more

3.5 stars, because this book can't decide what it wants to be when it grows up: another (possibly better) Fifty Shades, a para-military/action-packed book with tough/cool/good looking soldiers, a romance, or a serial with agonizing cliff-hangers

The BDSM label is IMO strictly because the Billionaire is Dominant and the Heroine obviously submissive. There's a bit of light play, but nothing shocking or "forbidden".

Our Heroine is an orphan, who lost her parents, her childhood home, and pretty much h...more

I am huge fan of Erotic novels. But unfortunately was not always feeling Anything He Wants. Yes some of the scenes are scorchers but was not feeling any of their emotions just seemed like sex nothing more.

It was a very hard decision to rate this novel. At times I felt it was 2 star so-so as the characters and the writing was a bit flat. Starts off ok but once they leave for their trip the novel did at times seem to drag. Even though the middle of book was a little slow, I thought Jeremiah was a...more

This book was originally published as a set of 5 serial installments. I purchased and read the first two, and although I enjoyed them, I decided that $2.99 was just too much for a few chapters of a book that didn't feel like anything more than just that, a piece of a book. I don't want to pay $15 for any ebook, let alone one that read like a cheap romance novel. However, when I saw that the publisher had compiled all 5 to be sold as a complete work (with a cheaper total price tag, I might add),...more

*This review is for the first five releases in this series. Rumor was that these five releases would complete this series; however, according to Fawkes, there will be more to this series (and thank goodness for that with the way that she ended #5!).

Anything He Wants is contemporary erotica, and likely another book series that falls under the guise of, “If you loved Fifty Shades of Grey, you’ll love this!” And while I am a fan of Fift...more

Sara Fawkes has always loved spinning tales but her romantic roots come from sneaking her mother's old Johanna Lindsay books from the dresser drawer. One who's been writing since she was a little girl (and has the home made books from preschool to prove it), she loves creating stories and characters and interesting messes for them to get into... and for the handsome guy to get the girl in the end....more
