This is a very fast read. I loved reading about this beautiful, under appreciated son of Nasrullah. Of course, I love all horses. What can I say?

I wrote a whole review for this, but Goodreads had an error and it got erased. I'm not re-typing the whole thing, so.... I liked the pictures in both Noor and Nasrullah.

It is not often that I get to read a book about something that is very close to my heart and that is a real story, Noor by Milton C Toby is one of those books. I was lucky enough to get to read this book through Walker Author tours, but I was drawn to read it because of my love of horse racing and my Great Grandfathers Love of the subject Noor.

This was a wonderful story of an amazing racehorse who did not achieve the same degree of national attention as other horses with less impressive records. Even if you aren't a fan of horse racing, this is a wonderful story about people who love animals. Well written and thoughtful, Mr. Toby has a gift of storytelling and I look forward to reading more of his books.
