"Don't you know theres a war going on", is about a little boy who's dad and brother went off to go fight WWII. He wants to help win the want so he does everything he can. The imagery in this book was very plain.

This book is not one of my favorites and it does not have a very interesting story line. I just got bored with it and feel like a classroom of restless kids would lose focus very fast.

This book could be used as a teaching prompt for WWII. I think it should be used for an older elementary

Lyrical, nostalgic kidlit. A small boy's view from the United States during World War 2. Stevenson's voice is authentic, and the illustrations are first-rate.

This book was a serious trip. It's kinda weird for someone my age to image the feeling back in WWII.
