Interesting premise, but too many subplots and characters. The Molly & George subplot, for instance. Yes, Molly finally grew a backbone & stopped being in denial, but what did that have to do with the main plot? Never found out who contacted George or what happened to him. Same with Kenny. They were both probably paid off by the nefarious MEFM folks, but for what purpose? The ending, to me, was a big letdown because too many questions were left unanswered.

Love the premise and wish Clean Sweep would come to fruition. Harkens back to a government by the people, for the people before campaign funds and rich lobbyists. Then the thriller takes over and it becomes a bit difficult to follow because of the many characters. The end was not as satisfying as I would have liked but perhaps that was the point. Great election season read!

Good political thriller with an interesting premise. Mary did a great job for her fist book. Only concern was that there are a lot of characters to keep track of. Otherwise, highly enjoyed!
