You must love to read and love to practice chinese martial arts to get into these books. They are brilliant and also hard to follow. But do give it a try if you have the time to read.

One of the four classics of Chinese literature, with translation by Sidney Shapiro. I have doubts as to the accuracy of the translation, but the stories themselves are wonderful, almost like a chinese Robin Hood. Really interesting, mainly for boys. They way the ancient Chinese treated women wasn't as equals. But to learn about Chinese culture and one of the famous stories was great!

This is one of my favorite books. It's a long epic tale. I love it. My favorite video games series (Suikoden) is (loosely) based on this book. <3 Sagacious Lu 4eva.

Basically a serial epic soap opera with martial arts. It's very formulaic and repetitive at times, but sort of fun if you are a patient reader.

Just starting on this one. I am liking it more as I become accustomed to the Chinese classical novel's style of writing.
