More than the words he spoke or the sermons he preached, Joseph Smith taught us how to live by his example. In this one-of-a-kind book, you'll find stories about the Prophet that illustrate character traits like obedience, courage, and faith. Then you'll learn to apply those traits to your everyday life. Practical and entertaining, this is a great book for youth and adults...more

Well, this was a high-energy little book. I enjoyed it and it should be appealing to the kids. It appears to be aimed at teens; IMO it's a little TOO short and easy, maybe more of a "tween" type of book. Not terribly deep, but fun and, in spots, quite meaningful as well. Although as a 40something I did find some of the quiz and other graphic type things a little distracting.

I obviously love to write! But when I'm not pounding on the keyboard, I'm probably skiing or snowboarding. I'm a member of the National Ski Patrol, and I patrol at a prominent Utah resort. I'm a licensed pilot and a certified scuba diver. I have a black lab named Cinda: we go for long walks early in the morning, and a lot of my best plot ideas come while we're out wandering around.
