I read robert perry's other story a few weeks back and so jumped at this one. First of all i love Robert's writing style. The protaganists short trip to the door is described in such an incredible way as to make you sit on the edge of your seat. This, for me, was a story of intolerance and fear of the unknown, It happens often in our society and Robert Perry bring it home here. Nicely done once again, hoping for a novel soon from Robert:)

This is a well written story about a young woman who is misjudged by the towns people and lives the majority of her life scarred and alone. The main thread in this yarn is fear and crowd mentality that results from it.

This is a very well written book. It was not what I was expecting but such a sad love story. This is my first by this author but certainly won't be the last.

I am an author of psychological and gothic horror works, some or which are short stories. I began writing when I was very young, and never quite stopped. After reading way too much Poe (a lie; you can never read too much Edgar Allan Poe) I took to a life in the shadows, writing my stories of macabre and desolate cemeteries with very bizarre characters. Okay, I'm embellishing here a bit, but I do l ...more
