3.5 I've always had a fascination with the mysterious histories of Roanoke and Jamestown, even visiting each several times. Odds are that if you don't live in Virgina you don't know much about Christopher Newport, but here in the 4th grade, when they're studying Virginia history, this will prove handy. Nice bright pictures, basic information. If you feel the need for a book on Newport, this is probably the only one out there--only one I've ever seen and it's adequate, but that's about all.
