Proof positive that Stand-Up comics are:
1) Pigs and
2) Tortured and
3) Not that funny
If life on the road is this horrid, it's a wonder there are any stand-up comics at all. I found a few of their stories to be interesting. Not well written and little repetitive, but interesting.

My only requisite for this book was that it had to entertain me on the shitty bus to Atlantic City. I figured with the calvalcade of comedians, it was bounds to have some laughs in it. Boy was I wrong. Schindler's list was funnier than this piece of shit. Read a bazooka joe instead.

This book is about the stories and experiences of life as a stand-up comic. I found this novel to be terribly funny. Most of the stories and experiences involve comedians being heckled or dealing with rather unusual groupies.

Basically a collection of really short anecdotes from the road life of comics. Probably not worth owning unless you're a comic, but there are some funny stories in it.

I didn't think this book was very good...or funny. It was all about the comics either a) being heckled or b) sleeping with groupies. Neither one interested me much.

This is a great read, about the road life of stand up comedians, and all of their funny stories. Some of these are incredible.

My friend Bernie McGrenahan's story is the last one in the book. It's an interesting look into a comics world.

Great book about the comedy business. Stories from some of my favorite comedians had me laughing out loud.

Frequently, the more obscure the road comic, the more AMAZING the story...
