When are poems good: well for me a poem is good when it makes me smile, makes me cry, makes me want the know the poem by hard or when it just makes me close the book and stare in front of me and let the words settle in my mind and hart. 'Mantra for a Muse' contains good poems!
I was only able to turn the pages after I read every poem several times, absorbing every word like a man lost in the desert clinging to a glas of water.
