I liked this book so much I am sure I will read it again and again.

This collection is smart, sophisticated, and observant, and the surprising thing was how evenly good the writing is from story to story. The author has a real ear for authentic dialogue and for saying just enough but leaving enough unsaid, too. It was a joy to see the short story form correctly used, too.

More than anything though, Taurisano sets the reader right inside each story from word one. These are tales about the difficult
