A splendid illustrated story portraying Robinson's travel around Europe.
Brown, Jones and Robinson on the Grand Tour, plus a bit more ... I'm glad I wasn't with them for it looks mighty crowded everywhere.

They get into numberable scrapes, meet The Bore, who even turns up at night when two of them visit a castle, lose their transport, cruise the Rhine, where Brown loses his hat, much to the delight of his two pals, and Jones has an altercation with a soldier that ends in his arrest - fortunately theothers appeal to the British Foreign Minister who manages to gain his

Richard "Dickie" Doyle (September 1824 –11 December 1883) was a notable illustrator of the Victorian era. His work frequently appeared, amongst other places, in Punch magazine; he drew the cover of the first issue, and designed the magazine's masthead, a design that was used for over a century.
