This was frustrating because I really loved Mack. I thought he was amazing for sticking around as long as he did. The problem was I did sort of like Dean in the sense I felt sorry for him, but I just didn't know about him and Mack. Losing someone is really hard, and everyone reacts differently, but I don't think it's fair to bring others in and fight so hard to keep them when you've made them feel so unloved.

This is one of those stories that I feel sorry for the MC but I also feel that he doesn't deserved a second chance in love and he certainly doesn't deserved a wonderful man like Mack.
When you feel lost and heartbroken and you can't go on, the last thing you should do is to hurt people who love you and support you. If this was a real story, I would have wish for Mack to leave Dean,(the selfish loser)sooner and no stand by him for 5 years. This is one of those times that I didn't want the 2 MC'S

A small slice of life story. I loved Mack. He's great. While this doesn't have an HEA, there is hope that Dean has his act together. Would love to see these guys in a longer book.
