This is my second time reading anything from Sarah Humphreys and WILL NOT be my last! Undone is a very exciting, original and sensual paranormal romance that allows the reader a great escape into its pages. A definite must read for all fans of the genre!

In prior books in The Amoveo Legend series, we have met shifters who belong to several different animal clans. In prior books in The Amoveo Legend series, we have met shifters who belong to several different animal clans. They each have exceptional powers, which they will begin to lose - ultimately leading to death - if they do not find their mates by a certain time. I have absolutely loved them all. However….. Undone has surpassed them with not only an excellent plot, filled with edge of your seat “OMG!” moments, but this is by far the steamiest, sexiest, be-still-my-beating-heart love stories of them all!

Pete Castro is a retired cop with loads of attitude. I have loved him from the first time he came onto the scene as Dante’s assistant at Inferno Securities. Always cool, level headed, loyal, steadfast…and oh so fine looking! He may only be human, but he is tall, built and gorgeous. He’s taken the news that he is surrounded by powerful shifters with unique abilities very well, but somehow believes himself not to be on a level playing field with them.

Marianna is a feisty, independent, party girl extraordinaire who doesn’t like anyone telling her what to do or how to do it. As Dante’s twin, she also is a Pure Blood, but where he is a rather large Fox, she is a Kodiak Bear, and let me tell you she is more than a handful! Marianna wants nothing to do with the battle that has been brewing between the Purists who do not want to dilute the bloodline by marrying ‘human’ half breeds-and those of the Amoveo who don’t agree with this and want to see to the continuation of their people.

As Marianna is unmated, Dante gets wind that she is in danger from the psycho leader of the Bear clan and appoints Pete to be her bodyguard. Well, when these two meet, it’s a slow burn that reaches epic proportions rather quickly. You see, there is a complication…Marianna has been dreaming about Pete, which means he is her mate. Pete doesn’t know this, but that matters little to him as he is totally drawn to her, and does that whole you’re mine, I must protect you and ravish you Alpha thing.

Pete is a perfect match for Marianna and I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop amidst the drama of the book. When he finally decides that enough is enough, and decides to step up the relationship, well…let me just say that I will not ever look at a snowmobile the same way again!

Usually I have a good idea of where a storyline is going, even if I don’t know the details, but Ms. Humphreys definitely threw me a HUGE curveball where Pete’s heritage is concerned. ***SMILES*** My lips are sealed. Though you could read Undone as a standalone, you will get more enjoyment if you have already read the previous books in the series.

She's difficult and very stubborn, but Dante hires his friend, Pete to watch over her. She definitely does not make it easy for Pete. In fact, she was difficult for me to like at first, but after awhile, she grew on me. She just wanted the truth and I could not blame her. I would want the truth as well.
Pete Castro had to be the main reason why I loved "Undone" due to his charm, over-protectiveness and well...his way in the bedroom (or lack of bedroom). He knew how to handle Marianna, even when her fraternal twin could not. I was curious on what Pete was from the very beginning and when Sara finally revealed what he was, I was intrigued. He's much different than any of the other male characters in the previous books.

The Purists played a part in this story even more and what they were up to. If you have read the other books, you will learn more on what the Purists are up to in this book. It's not for the faint of heart either. In fact I cannot stand the main guy, Artimus. I wanted to go through the book and rip him apart. He definitely has issues. Don't even get me started on his son, Hayden, either. I literally hate the Purists even more after reading this book and they definitely need to be dealt with.

Sara does another phenomenal job on the fourth installment to her Amoveo Legend Series. I literally went through so many emotions with this one and let me tell you after you read this book, you will never look at a snowmobile the same way. =)
Yes, this book definitely tops all the others when it comes to most nail biting, gut wrenching, and heart failing moments ever. Sara even gives you the hottest scenes between two characters who will steal your heart away and have you either running to the shower to cool down or grabbing some cold water to drink. (I still cannot get over that snow mobile scene)
Seriously, if you have not read this series yet, you need to. I highly recommend it to paranormal romance readers out there and fans of shape shifters. Sara takes you into a world of shifters who will capture your heart and all you want is for them to have a happily ever after without the Purists trying to ruin it for them.
I look forward to the next installment and now the new series coming out from Sara at the end of this summer.
This book will give you not only the shape shifters, but also demons, hellhounds, and vampires. I bet that got your attention now. =)

Oh my god, I loved this story. The passion, the chemistry. I loved Marianna and Pete's personalities and how they fit together so well. The little surprises throughout the book. Finally, an author has written a story about a shifter female finding a human mate. You find in so many paranormal stories a human female and a shifter male lead that I found it refreshing to see the opposite in this story. On top of that, the author found a way to have a strong shifter female without emasculating Pete, the hero in Undone. While it may be questionable at times on who can win physically, it is clear to me that Pete is every bit an alpha male even if he cannot turn into a ferocious bear.

Marianna is a character that I quickly fell in love with. She has a spice for life that you just don’t see in many stories. While she can certainly be a reckless party girl, she also bears a lot of weight on her shoulders from various places such as her Amoveo blood, family, friends, and enemies – whether they be forthcoming are hidden in the shadows. While at first I saw some of her behavior as reckless, as I learned more about her I discovered that she needs a way to let her hair down to keep from crumbling under all the pressure placed onto her. She also discovers that she can depend on Pete to help lift some of that burden as well.

Pete is an awesome man; he is the ultimate good guy. He clearly wants to make life better for those around him. It’s one of the attributes that made him a good cop previously and a good bodyguard/babysitter for Marianna. He has a way of seeing situations differently than the average human which makes him a true asset to the Amoveos and humans. One characteristic that I absolutely adore is his ability to push back. He never sees himself as weak especially when surrounded by preternatural beings, but instead analyses a situation and figures out how to make it work for him. This quality was truly enduring and makes me have a special appreciation for him.

I am a long time fan of this series and have truly enjoyed seeing the progression of not only the storyline but also the author’s ability. While all of the previous stories have been entertaining, I can see the progress that the author has made in finding a way to connect with her audience by painting a picture so clearly, it makes me forget the world around me. Many times I found myself so enthralled, that I had to shake my head just to jostle myself out of the Amoveo world and tend to the real world.

If you are not a follower of this series you can still enjoy Undone, though you may find certain areas unclear. I appreciate that the author does not go in too many summaries or explanations about characters and conflicts from previous stories. I have always found summaries tedious and downright boring. So some of the group or Amoveo conflicts, such as the counsel breaking up, may baffle a new reader, but Marianna and Pete’s romantic plot will keep anyone more than interested. Plus, if you have not read the series this will be a great time to pick up the previous books as well as this one and I assure you will not be disappointed.(less)

The Amoveo shifters series book 4 by Sara Humphreys. Is totally awesome I adored Marianna and Pete's story. Marianna thinks being neutral in the war is going to be easy, or at least less trouble. Man she was wrong, then she finds her mate who is "human". I loved the new twist Sara added to the story line. I have to say I think Marianna and Pete are one hot item. Can't wait for the next installment.

Awesome read. I love the whole concept of the Amoveo, their clans, their abilities and their struggle to survive and overcome the Purists.
Pete and Marianna's story is moving, believable and beautiful. Who wouldn't love a man like Pete, he's so much more than meets the eye.
Marianna's stubborness almost gets her killed but Pete's not having any of it. He's determined, rugged and not afraid, just like I like em.

There wasn't anything terribly wrong with this book. It just didn't grab me. I didn't find the characters particularly compelling. I did enjoy the revelation of Pete's father, however.

In spite of the fact that they were stuck in the woods for a month, the plot moved along quickly enough. There was action and mortal danger and suspense. But somehow the book was still kind of vanilla.

Now, they are hiding out together from the kidnappers. Pete couldn’t stop thinking about her…dreaming about her while he guarded her in the City. Now all alone, Pete’s desire for Marianna is only exceeded by his need for her to see him as more than just a human.

THOUGHTS:
Loved it! I love when a story leaves our hero and heroine stranded together for a chance to really get to know each other, and yet there was still plenty of time for an exciting rescue, a set up for the next book in the series as well as a set up for her next series focusing on vampires.

It was a well written story with great characters which blended the love story and the excitement so we have plenty of both to enjoy.

We got to see William again who loosened up in his and Layla’s story, but he comes off cold and distant again. I loved him in his book Untamed, but he quickly returned to his unsympathetic self. I guess he will remain a character that unless you are in his head, he will always come off as unfeeling and hardhearted.

These stories have gotten better each time and I am sorry that we are nearing the end of the series.

I am a huge fan of this series. I love that Sara takes my favorite self named genre (shifter crack ;) ) and makes it fresh and different without giving up what it is I love about shifters. Undone is my favorite of this series, without a doubt. Not only does it have the elements I adore; true love, lots of heat, adventure, a bit of mystery, and characters I can connect with, but it has an ending I never saw coming! I have reently found the Amoveo Series. I have also been lucky enough to become one of Sara's Angels. Sara has done a good job developing her characters back story. It's nice to know the Immortals have as many political headaches as us, the mere mortals. I like the way she enables the humans to crack the shells and turn the Shifters, Vampires and Hybrids into mush. I can't wait for her next book.

Undone is on FIRE!! Sara Humphreys continues the Amoveo journey in this page turning book. She has an amazing ability to connect her readers with the characters. I found myself actually empathizing with the characters and wanting to either jump in the book and help them or just jump in the book and jump them! A must read! Can't wait for the next one!

I just read Sara Taney Humphreys new Novella, "Undenied" and all I can say is...wow. I like any story that involves anything Paranormal, but this author takes it to a new level. This story grabs you from page one with descriptive visuals and the steaminess that a lot of women will love. I highly recommend it! It will be available Monday on Amazon. :)

WOW! WOW! And WOW! This is, by far, my favorite book in this series. I loved the others ones, but this one just kind of flips everything around, turns it upside down, and throws all kinds of new stuff into the crowd! I loved everything about it! All of the old stuff and all of the new stuff was just phenomenal! I had no idea what to expect from Pete. I liked him from the get go, but I wasn't sure where the human mate thing was going to go.
