Get seduced by asizzling account of attraction and betrayal in this previously self-published phenomenon. There was something wicked about Beau that drew me to him. What was wrong with me? Why did I want to sin so badly?

Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charmin...more

(except I didn't throw my reader through the window, only on my bed... but you get my point)

Well I don't know what to say about this book other than I'm VERY disappointed in how the story went.

From reading the blurb, I kinda got the idea this would be a forbidden love kind of thing, they were in love but couldn't be together cause she was dating his cousin for three years now.

No forbidden love here cause the MCs don't actually give a sh*t :D

5 Sexy Stars!

And THAT is how you handle a love triangle...

Abbi Glines astounds me! Her writing is so consistently brilliant and the excitement in turning that first page always makes me feel as if I'm unwrapping a gift. Her heroes display the perfect ratio of bad boy and sweetheart qualities...and those sexy Vincent boys are no exception! That said, I still find Abbi's characters to be distinct and vary considerably from book to book—never giving me the feeling that I've met a character before i...more

This is one hot and steamy story! Don't plan on doing anything else when you start this. I found I couldn't put it down! (I apologize up-front for the over usage of: !s and all-around gushing).

Ashton, Beau, and Sawyer were inseparable childhood friends. Beau and Sawyer, "the Vincent boys" are cousins, but its Ashton and Beau who are close. These two are the town's little hell-raisers, and Sawyer is the one usually bailing them out of trouble, and encouraging them to mend their ways. All this ch...more

This is going to be a quickie - I'm just going to rant about the things I didn't like.

First things first: The plot. The plot is very, very unoriginal, at first I guess that is what drew me in, knowing the story and ultimately just loving the swoon worthy moments books like this promise however I have to say it turned out that the plot is one the things that I disliked most about this book. I felt myself yearning for the MC for once to end up with the safe, 'good' boy - what can I say? I wanted...more

It's time to write this review. Oh man,I want to barf. If you thought Breathe sucked check this 'jewel' out.

It started out great:Chick's(Ashton) boyfriend(Sawyer) goes on some motherfu***ng mountain trip and leaves her all alone with her her stupid religious parents and what's a girl to do than to rekindle her friendship with a towns bad boy(Beau)... Anyway, she hooks up with Beau and when I say she hoops up i mean-the preacher's daughter f***s him in his...more

Wow! Abbi Glines knows how to write a bad boy.

I loved being in Beau's head and hearing what he was thinking. Beau totally stole the show in this book. Ashton said it best, "When did you get all sweet and charming?" Every girl wants a bad boy who will be good just for her!

I'm not a fan of love triangles and that is one of reasons why I didn't like the book Thoughtless. Even though this book was about a love triangle I totally loved it. Abbi Glines did a great job por...more

I grew up in the Southern US, and clearly so did Abbi Glines. It's disappointingly rare for someone to nail the Southern temperament, even when they live there. Either it seems affected or stereotypical. Neither appeals to those of us who know better. There are old rules at play that can seem archaic if you don't understand how they work - and how they're worked around. The Vincent Boys proves it knows the landscape quicker than a duck on a Junebug.

Ashton is a good girl, with a good heart. It's...more

Compared to the amount of paranormal and fantasy books I read, contemporary or realistic fiction is not an area I delve into all that often. When I do choose to read a book in the genre, it has nearly always been a moving, heartfelt story – not anything like The Vincent Boys. In fact, the cover for this book is enough to tell me that this book and I are not meant to be. A lollipop and bright green font? Yeah…not me at all. Strange thing was that I actually wanted to read this book. I wi...more

“I was already headed for Hell, I might as well enjoy the ride.”

I really enjoyed this one. It was quick, light, and entertaining. My first Abbi Glines read! It was the perfect choice after my heavy The Fault in Our Stars hangover.

The plot is pretty basic... About three childhood friends, Ashton and cousins Beau and Sawyer. All grown up Ashton and Sawyer are the "perfect" couple and Beau is the town "black sheep." While Sawyer is away for the summer, Ashton and Beau rekindle their friendship an...more

I'm going to break a little hard-and-fast rule I have for myself. It's no biggie, just something I try to never do. Here goes: OMG, Y'ALL!! Ridiculous right? I have no problem with others saying OMG, it's just sounds ridiculous when I say it. But, OMG, OMG, OMG! The Vincent Boys completely rocked my world!

I was in a bit of a reading slump. I had been reading some awesome books (The Iron Queen and Bad to the Bone). And then, Zzzzzzz. The books (who will not be named) are not bad, just, ya know,...more

First off, Abbi Glines is amazing.

Secondly, ok, let's be real.

About half way through this book, I contemplated putting it down. Not that the story wasn't good, but because I was so emotional about it and I didn't see a way for anyone, not anyone, to have a happy ending. I was saying to myself, "Abbi, how dare you! You hook me and then break my heart!!"
But of course, Abbi knows how to finagle a story. The way she brings all things in, all people, all walks of life makes for a beautiful story. T...more

4.5 Stars!

Abbi Glines has a way with the boys! The Vincent Boys stole my heart and earned an all inclusive stay in my daydreams!

Beau, Sawyer, and Ashton shared trouble and love while growing up in a small, southern town filled with gossip, gossip, and more gossip. The Vincent family is the town’s star attraction and main source of gossip. Sawyer fills the all around Mr. Perfect, good boy role. Beau balances out the town with his beautiful bad boy reputation. Every town needs a bad boy—thank goo...more

2.5 stars. My low rating is only for some strange behavior quirks but The Vincent Boys wasn't a bad way to pass a couple of hours, even if the book had a few moments that I could have lived without.

For the most part, this was a quick, simple, and somewhat entertaining love story - with a few glaring flaws.

Beau - He's the stereotypical bad boy in a stereotypical story. He's hot; he knows it; he flaunts it. Yet, he has a soft side because he carries a torch for the one girl he's always wanted but...more

Not for me.
Not a big Beau and Ashton fan.
Whether or not Sawyer knew the real Ashton or thought she was too perfect, cheating is not romantic. Oh poor Ashton your boyfriend thinks you are too perfect what a real bummer why don't you go cheat on him with his cousin?!?!?!?!?! Ashton and Beau haven't spoken in years, then all of a sudden as soon as her boyfriend is out of town they are all over each other?!?! Gross. I stopped reading before I got really upset.

I haven't written a review in... months, but I feel so strongly about this book I can't help putting down my opinion here.
Oh my.
Is this a book?
If it weren't from the fact that it was free I'd be pissed. And I thought it would be a safe bet.
Where should I start from? The tons of grammatical mistakes? The terrible, terrible dialogues missing all punctuation?
The story so similar to Liz Reinhardt's Junk Miles which she managed to write way better?
The unbelievable plot where a girl stays for three ye...more

...Why was this author picked up for publication again? Good sales or no, this book's quality is abominable on the same level as Beautiful Disaster. Slut-shaming, glorification of cheating, and more things that make you want to vomit run amok in this train wreck of a novel. Oi, my aching head. The only reason I read it was because I won it and wanted to get it off my TBR. None of the reviews that are already up warned me of exactly how bad it would...more

Written from alternating POV’s of Beau & Ashton

I was so excited to start this YA series because I heard it had a more mature rating for YA and a big love triangle. It just didn’t do it for me, I think mainly because I didn’t feel any warmth for the characters. They seemed selfish and immature, I do realize it was YA and they were only 17 years old and I think they definitely...more

Can you believe I got this book for free off of Amazon UK? Honestly, this is why I love Amazon/Authors when they put up free kindle books because it gives me the opportunity to read books that I probably wouldn't have bought right away - due to my ever growing to-be-read pile. And yes, I'm seriously kicking myself for not having bought this book before because honestly....it is pretty amazing and I'm dying to read what's next.

Since Ashton was a young girl, she has always had two best friends -...more

Can I just grin all day? This book is gawdsmackin' hot! I was giddy the entire time I was reading it. Abbi Glines sure knows how to make absolutely drool-worthy guys and swoon-worthy scenes. This is my third book of her and she's quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

I had put off this book for quite a long time because when I read the synopsis I thought it would be something really frustrating, with the main guy liking his cousin's girlfriend and the girl feeling the same way. It's somet...more

I have a confession to make. I uploaded Kindle on PC at work because of this book. I wasn't going to, I swear! But I kept reading some glowing reviews that I just had to check it out myself. As soon as I got to the first two pages, I pretty much kissed productivity goodbye. I'm awful, I know! I have to uninstall this program before the IT gets wind of it. Can you imagine how much trouble I'm going to be in? I shudder to think.

This is quite possibly one of my favourite contemporary lit of the yea...more

Here's the deal. I like this author's style. I like the teen and new adult angst, first loves and family taboos that she brings to the story.

However, the formula of boy meets girl, he 's a bad boy, she's a good-secret bad-girl or she is committed to or loves the good guy buy can't help how she is taken by storm with the bad guy, plus---some secondary characters are littered about to reinforce how "Hawt" the bad boy is, how "charismatic" the good guy is, and how "pretty" or "irresistibl...more

This is quite possibly the best contemporary I have EVER read. I enjoyed every minute of The Vincent Boys. I didn't want it to end. It is one of those books that you wish had unlimited pages to turn. You just want to keep reading it forever.

Beau is just plain awesomeness. He is just a guy made up purely of awesome! I want a few Beau's on hand at all times for me. Now you all know, that I am not normally one for the bad boys- but I didn't find Beau to be bad. Not really. He cared so much about A...more

Why do I read? For pleasure, to make me happy, to satisfy myself. This book did all those things and more.... review to come.

Ashton Gray had been friends with Beau and Sawyer Vincent since early grade school.
Born mischief makers Ashton and Beau had a special connection getting themselves into all sorts of trouble, leaving Sawyer to get them out of it.None of them wanted anything to change, but of course it does. As they grow up the boys start to notice Ashton change, as boys will. Now a beautiful...more

To sum it up: Ashton Gray has grown weary of playing the part to please her parents, and to be worthy of the town’s prince charming, Sawyer Vincent. Maybe That’s why she’s found herself spending time with Sawyer’s cousin, Beau, while he’s away for the summer camping with his family.

Beau is nothing like her perfect boyfriend- He’s the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, dangerous in ways she’s only day dreamed about, and the one guy she should stay away from. Beau never envied Sawyer, his loving parent...more

Oh. My. Holy. BEAU!! Okay, I moved from NJ to GA a few years ago, and Southern culture is incredibly interesting to me...since I recently got a fabulous GA born-and-bred sis-in-law, I've had a little peak into what life is like in the South. And I've been obsessed!

Along came Abbi Glines's amazing book, and I feel like I LIVED here during my teenage years! I feel like I got a sneak peek into a world I've been on the outside of for the last few years. And I'm SO IN LOVE!! First of all, I adored A...more

As soon as I realized The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines had been released, I rushed to Amazon and purchased it for my Kindle. Boy, am I glad I bought it! It only took me a few hours to read it because I COULD NOT put it down. I Absolutely LOVED this book! I’m probably being a little biased (okay, ALOT biased) about my reasons for loving it. But I love it nonetheless.

The Vincent Boys is set in LA (aka Lower Alabama). haha :) Yes, people around here actually call it that! I love reading books that...more

The Vincent Boys is another awesome novel from author Abbi Glines. I first came to love Abbi Glines’ writing in her debut novel BREATHE when she sent my heart racing with the romance in her debut novel. But in The Vincent Boys, my heart was pounding. I knew Glines had a gift for writing romance, but after reading Ash, Sawyer and Beau's romance, I now know Glines has a gift for writing the steamy, too .Abbi Glines just took me back to those teenage years of feeling that swoony romance again. Ok it's now 1.21am and I finished this book and DAMN it was good! I loved this book from beginning to end and could not put it down. It had me captivated from the first chapter with all that teasing and banter between Ashton and Beau (oh my this guy makes me blush in all the wrong places lol). He is the ultimate bad boy that oozes such sex appeal but has the heart of gold and is vulnerable to boot. This book skipped from both Ashton and Beau's POV and I extremely enjoyed that because you were ab...more

This book was packed with romantic chemistry from chapter one. Had some girls recommend this book and I read it while stuck in the hospital. It helped the time go by much better, that's for sure. Beau is hot. Unlike other bad boys I've had trouble with, Beau was not an ass. Although he's definitely got a nice--where was I? Anyway, he was the best type of bad boy. Hot & maybe not the best decision maker but loyal and caring and always there when needed. Don't want to say much and spoil it, bu...more
