Ok, I'll be honest here, the ONLY reason I finished this book was that I wanted to be able to rate it fairly but by 25% I was already thinking of stopping and by 50%, I pretty much just wanted to smash my kindle against the wall :S

Siiigh.. ok. Where to start?

k, its easier if I refer to characters by name so the heroine is Savanna, the shithead boyfriend is Ty, and the hero is Colt (who is also Ty's cousin).

The set up of the story is that Ty and Savanna have been together since they were 14. Wh...more

Thank you, Jennifer Foor for an amazing ride in the country,4.5 Stars Sugar!

I’ve seen how she looks at you. Even when you aren’t looking, she is. That girl has it bad. Never in all the years we were together, did I ever get that look.”

Letting Go is a love triangle which had me frantically turning the pages. This story has it all love, heartache, lies, kindness, cruelty, forgiveness and one hot cousin named…Colt Mitchell.

I got just beyond halfway through this and then I gave up and just read the last chapter and kind of skimmed over the rest.

It was badly written, and the characters were ridiculous.
I thought the story was good, and I really wanted to get into it because I liked the premise, but the writing just put me off. All these never ending sentences, and unnatural dialogue, I was cringing the whole time.

Van was pathetic and immature. She kept whining about everything and making herself out to be a martyr an...more

Make sure you have your ac set low b/c this book will have you all hot and bothered.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Where can I find a Colt Mitchell? Seriously. He is one hot cowboy. He can call me Darlin all damn day long *sighs*

Savannah breaks up with her boyfriend Ty Mitchell (who is a dueche bag by the way) b/c she needs to focus on her school and not on partying, which is the only thing that Ty is really interested in. Even though she broke up with him she is still in love with him...more

This book is definitely one I would be happy with Letting Go and soon forget!

There are so many issues I've had with it, but because I consider reading this book a waste of my time I am NOT going to spend anymore on a review.

Review to come once the book is released!!!!!!

I read this book as an ARC read.

Okay so what can I say.....I LOVED this book. I am usually not a fan of love triangles but for some reason this book just worked, maybe because Ty was in a coma. This book had me smiling, crying, and fuming. I absolutely adored all the characters, Savanna, Colton and even Ty.

Colton was so sweet and sexy how could you not fall for him. I don't want to say to much and give anything away, so I will just say go out and get...more

I'm so happy when about to start a book I have not great expectations about in the end I feel as I've hit the jackpot.
The premise of the book sounded very enticing but I was worried about the love triangle aspect, something I'm not very fond of.
However in this case our heroine Savanna knows what she wants and above all WHO she wants and really loves. No back and forth here.
The characters' actions were real and plausible with their contradictions and insecurities. Colt is to die for, so sweet, ca...more

I really hate leaving bad reviws and i did really want to like this but i couldn't get past the dialog it was so formal and awkward.I would of liked this more if the dialog was less stiff.

4 Stars!!

This book has been sitting on my Kindle since last year, I never realized what I gem I had sitting there waiting to be read. Let me say that I have this Love/Hate relationship with books about love triangles. I love the storylines, but I HATE how reading these types of books totally stress me out. I totally fell in love with Colt, what a perfect guy he turned out to be. About half way through the book I thought I was going to start hating Savannah, but her character totally surprised me...more

I really liked this book.. I loved the chemistry between Colt and Savanna. I am looking forward to reading the second book!

This book was pretty good. I was actually a little surprised by some of the turn of events that happened, but in a good way. If I was in the same circumstances as Savanna I totally would have fallen for Colt. I mean seriously because Ty got in a car drunk and followed her after she walked in on him with another girl; everyone blames Savanna for his accident. Come on, seriously do I need to tell you how much part of the book pissed me off. I thought that Ty’s mom could jump off a bridge she was s...more

This book.

I don't even know where to start.

If you value your time, do NOT read this novel. If one can even call it that...

Okay, I realize that's pretty harsh, but OMG I COULD NOT EVEN FINISH THIS BOOK. I kept hoping that it would get better but it never did. The story-line sounded good but the way the author put all of this together is just laughable.

The main character, Savanna, has absolutely NO backbone. SHE'S BACKBONE-LESS. It's like someone took a magic wand and cast that Harry Potter spell...more

This book really incites some really strong emotions for the characters. Savannah is a real pushover, Colt is real sweetie and Ty is a real asshole. A part of me understood how Savannah being the way she is, could be so overwhelmed by guilt that she would stay by her boyfriend (asshole) side even while he was still in coma. What I failed to understand was how Ty still felt justified in his relationship with her even after she found out and Colt pointed out that he had cheated on her many times....more

OK, solo... To be honest, this book wasn't bad. One thing I hate about readers is... When someone or something happens in the story and you get mad about it? That's a good thing! Just because it gets you mad or upset does not mean that it is a "oh that would never happen!" Situation. Any who back to the book....
So yes ty was ridiculous. I basically hated him from the beginning and yes I found "s" rt he heroin very .... Let's just say dense and at times annoying. I hated that she didn't know or c...more

I read this book because people were saying it was like The Vincent Boys and because I enjoyed those books I thought I would like this also. Now on the hand the story is VERY similar 2 cousins who have known the girl since childhood, one gets her the other doesn't, somthing happens to the girls b/f so here comes cousin to help, one thing leads to another and boom now they are together, boys fight eachother, feelings are hurt so on and so forth. The only thing is, is that this book to me seemed c...more

I had to really push myself to finish this book simply because I struggled with the dialog. At times, especially when Colt was introduced and the author started developing his character he seemed too "hillbilly". The things that came out of his mouth were a big turn off for me. Not because on "the meaning or feelings" he was expressing, but the words he used. I understand he grew up in Kentucky, but the dialect went overboard, in my opinion, and I am born and raised in Tennessee and a country gi...more

When I read the Prologue I was thinking wow what a Bitch Savanna was doing that to Tyler. Well I should have know that a boy only sees what he wants........he's a douchebag! As the story unfolds I began not to hate Tyler so much but rather feel sorry for him and hope that Savanna can see he for who he truly is. I was so angry about how everyone was so awful to Savanna after Tyler's accident especially his parents it seemed no one could see what really was going on. When Colt came to town and eve...more

Sav has loved Ty all her life...but he's not one who is settled..he's the typical man-whore and party's hard.He takes Sav for granted and that's how he loses her too.

When Sav walks on Ty and A girl ..her heart breaks..she just wanted some space for her studies and Ty goes sleeping with girls.Ty trying to follow Sav involves himself in accident which leaves him in a 7 month comma.Sav is being held responsible for it and all blame her..even Ty's parents, all her friends avoid her and no one cares f...more

You know that moment wherein you're so engrossed with the book and you can't stop reading it... but at the back of your mind, what you're really saying is that these scenes absolutely cannot happen in real life..like you absolutely cannot allow it to happen since it'll be awkward and really really weird? Well, I felt that in this book.

I know that it's fiction. I know that this isn't real... but damn if that didn't felt close enough.

First I want to say that I did really enjoy this book. I LOVED Colt and I HATED Ty and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series to see where their stories go. However, to be honest, I almost could not give this book 4 stars because of one big problem...THE DIALOGUE. Why do none of the characters use contractions when they speak???!! At first I tried to overlook it and thought maybe it was some kind of dialect i wasn't aware of. But it got to a point where it was so painful to read and...more

The description of this book was enough to let the reader know what would happen, but also sets up the reader with the hope of the book being good. I will say that overall this book wasn't horrible, but it had potential to be a lot better. It was a long debate on what star rating I would give this one.

The book is about a girl (Savanna) who had broken up with her boyfriend (Ty) to focus on school with the hopes of getting back together (they were meant to be), and one night she arriv...more

Van has loved Ty for the past 5 years. He has been her first and only love. Ty loves Van but being faithful is not that easy for him. After Van breaks up with Ty to concentrate on school, with all intentions of them getting back together, she finds him with another woman. She storms off and he chases her, only problem being he has been drinking and shouldn't drive. Ty is in an accident and in a coma for seven months. Van feels responsible for Ty's condition along with his family and all their fr...more

I am gonna try to be as nice as I can about this review but still have to be honest. I have never read a book where I pretty much disliked all of the characters, especially the main one. Van was one of the most pathetic, cry baby, immature, and ridiculous characters to me. She always played the victim but never did one single thing to change it, in fact to me she encouraged it. She never said anything to all the people who were awful to her and at one point I remember cringing because she let Ty...more

I had high hopes for this book. The story line sounded decent and it’s subject was similar to past books I’ve read and enjoyed. Unfortunately, it fell short for me.

My first issue was with the dialog. I’m not normally picky but the dialog felt cheesy, forced and formal. One pet peeve of mine is overly formal dialog for contemporary books. People speak in contractions…that’s just the way it is. I know that’s a blanket statement and it’s not true for everyone, but for most people, they use contrac...more

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the love triangle angle but I swear I want to KILL TY but I hear he is redeemed in the second book which is his- haven't read it but purchased so I soon shall see.

Savannah, Van to all her friends/family with the exception of Colt, is a beautiful 19 year old college student. She doesn't know how beautiful she is which I really like that in a character. She is the kindest person and had been in love with Tyler (Ty) since she was 14. They have dated for 5 years w...more

I like the angst in this story. However, the characters annoy the freak out of me. Let's start with Van....she needs a backbone like pronto! Yes, I understand about the guilt that consumes her as a result of the accident, but come on now!! You can't just let his parents threat and insult you like at every chance they get!! His parents....I wanted to choke those 2, especially the mom..talk about denial!! Colt...perfect except for the shutting down part. He was such a sweetheart. Tyler was an int...more

Jennifer Foor has found her nitch! This book was awesome, I read it in a few short hours, then turned around and reread it again.

***SPOILER ALERT...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
Savanna and Ty high school sweethearts head off to college together. Ty who wanted the full "college experience" went and did just that, Savanna who was more focused on her studies tried to get Ty to buckled down so to speak, when Ty wasnt having it, Savanna decided she needed a break. Ty being Ty just went off the hook, then...more

Sometimes, there are books that you engage with so thoroughly that you either don't notice or care about grammatical mistakes or frustrating phrasing.

This is not one of those books.

That is not saying that I didn't enjoy Letting Go. I did. But I didn't like it enough not to notice annoying and awkward conversations or inner thoughts. I really can't stand reading when there are WAY less contractions than normal. I really don't know many (if any at all) people who actually say 'do not' in...more
