Aveni describes how the Mayans, Incans, and people of Stonehenge managed to develop their calendars using basic structures and astronomy without the tools and math that we have today. He makes some very interesting observations about these cultures and how they relate to modern society. Particularly, he takes some initially confusing aspects and draws parallels to how we behave.
