I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

*SPOILER ALERT*
Usually I'm scared to read sequels because a lot of the time they don't live up to the first book.but that was not the case with Charity Rising. the sequel was just as good if not better then the first.
In this novel Charity and Levi are married and eventually get to live together. Ashley and josh also eventually get married. In this book we get to see how the pack lives together and deal with issues t...more

Charity Rising is the conclusion to Charity and Levis love story. Charity is the alpha female of the pack, she is worrying that Levi will have to take another wife if she doesn’t get pregnant and have a boy. She is trying to keep the packs secret and for some reason Levi is acting weird. When Levis connection symbol turns black and everyone thinks Charity cheated on Levi, Charity has to find out what is going or they both will die. Charity is very different in this story than she was in the last...more

The story of this book is truly amazing. I liked seeing Charity's progress throughout the book, how she became even stronger and bolder and wiser, and changed the lives of the people around her. She was loyal to the people she loved, and considerate of the feelings of those around her. She was beautiful, she was courageous and she took risky chances. I totally love her character now. She is definitely someone to look up to, because she deals with her problems really well and makes life-changing...more

First I want to thank DeAnna for letting me review this before it came out. Now on to the good stuff I must say I usually don't like sequels but hands down Charity Rising is amazing. This book made me laugh, cry, and scream, but it also made me feel really good. There at a few surprises that I didn't see coming but it only made the book better. If your a Charity and Levi fan you will be extremely happy and won't be disappointed. I'm a big fan of werewolf love stories and if you are too you need t...more

I want to start by saying that I love DeAnna Kinney. She's such an awesome and sweet person and she has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I just adore her as an author and a person. I can't thank her enough for letting me read an ARC of Charity Rising because she knew how anxious I was to read it!! If you've read my review of Charity Moon then you know how much I LOVED that book. Most of the time, sequels are nice additions but in my mind never come close to the first. This was not the...more

Charity Rising is book two in the Charity Series By DeAnna Kinney.Book two has lots of love in it,humor and a bit of wolf drama and LOTS of lipgloss.Let me start off the Good.I loved Levi and his whole alpha-ness and Charity..well she is pretty darn cool herself. They are almost done with senior year and already married.Charity and Levi are of course bonded.I loved Raven he's a pretty cool Vampire to stay with the Wolves. The not so good of Charity..While I love her character she bothered me a sma...more

First of all I would just like to thank DeAnna for giving me a copy of 'Charity Rising' for an honest review.

A beautiful ending to a spectacular sequel. This book was amazing. At all stages there was something happening within the book and it was very fast paced. Charity Rising was full of shocking revelation and full of surprises that I didn't see coming. If you are fan of Charity and Levi you will not be disappointed(at one stage though you will be a little bit worried but I'm not going to sa...more

First I would like to thank the awesome DeAnna Kinney for giving me the chance to read and review her book. Now on to the actual review. This book was both similar and different from the first. Just like in the first book we have the toe-curling romance, the edge of the seat suspense and some pretty funny nicknames... ( Fido you know what I'm talking about :) ) However, in Charity rising things are taken to the next level. The romance is a bit hotter, the suspense.....more

First of all,I want to thank the author to give me this book to review before it actually released but due to some problem I wasn't able to read andreview before it and I hadn't even read the first book then so I tried to finish my first and as soon I finished with that..I jumped to this one and God I loved it...

I tell you I never try to finish a series so quickly but still this book was intoxicating as the first and better than the first. More elements are there. Secondly...I love the cover..I

Charity Rising was AMAZING! The writing was entertaining, and the story was seriously addictive.

This piece of the Charity Series brought the story to a whole new level. I enjoyed the first book, but loved the second. The romance was stronger; the action was more intense, and the suspense kept me flipping pages until the wee hours of the morning.

Kinney had me back in high school and made me fall in love for the first time all over again. Charity’s character really came a long way from the first b...more

This book is the second of the Charity series. The book centers on Charity and Levi, and his pack of werewolves. Two weeks after the last book finished everything seems great. Charity is happy with Levi and all her friends. But at the prom, Levi starts to act strange and Charity can't figure out what is wrong with him. His odd behaviour continues and if Charity doesn't find out what is happening, it could be the end of her and Levi.

I have to say that I LOVED the prologue, it was so well written...more

I really enjoyed Charity Moon so I was anxious to continue on in Charity and Levi's journey. This book did not disspoint! The book was filled with juicy romantic moments just like the first, but also pulse pounding action and suspense. I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons:
1. I thought Charity acted kind of childish at times and it bugged me. However, she was true to her character so I applaud Kinney for keeping her consistent.
2. I thought this should have been divided into two bo...more

Charity Rising, was a roller coaster of emotions, the playfulness that Levi and Charity share I am glad continued into this sequel. A lot happening in this one, would have love to see it split into two books (hate their story came to a end), however DeAnna kept a nice balance with the story line. I hope to see more from Windrake Mountain and possibly a short follow-up of how Levi and Charity are making out. Please keep the POV within the story it definitely adds a different twist on the other ch...more

WOW, AMAZING!!!! When I was asked by the Author to review this and got a per-released copy I was excited, Since I loved the first book so much. This book has out done the first one in so many ways. It took me too days to read it. It kept my interest through the whole book. I never wanted to put it down. All I wanted to do was read it. I'm sure I drove people at work crazy, just I couldn't wait to get to break and read it. Like the first you never know whats going to happen next. I will/ would re...more

Okay, let me start by saying that I realize that this sequel is a busy one, and a lot is going on, but for some crazy reason, I like it like that, haha. Charity is trying to find her place in her new pack and is suddenly confronted with a threat she thought she'd never see......Levi himself. This story was a blast to write. I hope that comes across to the readers. These characters are just so much fun to write about. I look forward to the comments to come.

I loved this book! The author cleverly threw a snarky, witty teenaged high school girl into a world far beyond the norm and did it with total teen attitude! Was it all believable? In an entertaining way, yes!!!!! I often shook my head and smiled at Charity's youthful perspective. Levi was awesome and the addition of a few quirky characters made me laugh. Great story, great characters, loved the ending!

3.5/5

much better than the first. dialogue flowed well and more realistic instead of feeling forced as in the first one. the story line feels little rushed though. a couple of times I had to go back and reread to make sure I hadn't accidentally missed something in the story or missed a few pages which interrupts the flow

I really wanted to love this book, but for me it was just okay. There were things I liked and things I didn't like, but it ultimately came down to the fact that it just didn't measure up to the first book in my eyes.

Wow :)
I have to say that this was just as good as Charity Moon. I was smiling (a lot). The story is broken up into two parts and basically just continues Charity and Levi's story... with a little twist :)
I don't want to give anything away, but the issue is that Levi is acting weird. I LOVED the twist. Anyone who liked Charity Moon is sure to love Charity Rising. I'm so excited for more of DeAnna Kinney's books!

Sometimes sequels can be disappointing, but not in this case. Charity and Levi have pulled me in and I don't want them to let go. I loved this book.

A wonderful story.

I liked this book because it was a refreshing change from the books I normally read. This one has many characteristics I like to be able to share this with my teenager.

I read the first book and felt it was lacking in some areas. I enjoyed the characters enough to read the second book and the Ms.Kinney asked me too. I have to say I really liked it. The storyline kept right on task, the characters can make you cheer and worry about them long after you put the book down. I would say grab a book and start what is turning into a good series.

This was a fantastic addition to the first book. I couldnt stop laughing, i have absolutely no complaints whatsoever both mini books were wonderful!

My complaints from the first book are still unchanged. Love charity's personality though. :)

I am a wife and mother of three, ages ranging from 5-17. I consider myself as fun-loving and a bit peculiar. Besides writing, I love reading, the color purple, Star Wars, decorating on a budget, and dancing while I cook(I can see my kids rolling their eyes as we speak). I believe whole-heartedly that chocolates and a good book go hand in hand. And, having experienced it myself, believe utterly in...more
