Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Michelle L. Olson:

I'm a big fan of big cat shifters, so I figured that I'd like A Jaguar's Kiss. I didn't think that I'd enjoy it quite as much as I did though...

Gabriela is a strong, confident, alpha female jaguar shifter who works for the CIA and is coming back home for some R&R after an incident leaves her shaken. She's looking forward to her time off, but not looking forward to running into her high school fling, the one man who broke her h...more

A Jaguar’s Kiss by Katie Reus
Gabriela Segura needed some time away from her job after dealing with the loss of her team so accepting her mother’s invitation to return home for a visit was the perfect escape. If only she could escape running into Owen Wright, her once best friend who had cut her to the bone and severed their growing bond before they could fully explore what they might have had. Getting accosted and kidnapped by his brother was not what she expected when she stepped out of the res...more

Owen’s entire pack is on edge. They know that a jaguar shifter is responsible fo...more

I loved this novella! It’s a fun quick read with great characters and some hot action, as in the sexy kind and the danger kind! As usual with books written by Katie Reus, this one was well written with an entertaining plot and likable characters. Even though it’s a short read, only about 7 chapters, it’s not lacking in character development or plot development.

It starts off with Gabriela coming home after years of being away and it’s immediately known that she does NOT want to see Owen, who was...more

Gabriela Segura has returned home to Bear Mountain to see her family but no one knew she was coming. Gabriela has no idea of the recent events taking place in Bear Mountain, she was just hoping to come home and recover from her recent loss and spend time with her family and hopefully avoid the boy who broke her heart.

Owen Wright, alpha of his wolf pack is dealing with a recent spout of deaths believed to be the result of a jaguar shifter. Imagine Owens' surprise when he receives a call from his...more

Returning home after too many years away Gabriela finds herself being kidnapped by one of the the local wolf pack and he is blabbering on about jaguar attacks on the locals. All Gabriela wants to do is get home and find out if what the wolf is saying is true. To check in with her family to make sure they are all okay. The last thing and the last person she wants to see Owen Wright, the love of her life, the man who broke her heart just walked through the door.

This was a really good...more

Returning home after ten years away for a much needed break, Gabriela who happens to be a C.I.A Agent last mission went awry and left her shaken. Sure she isn't to thrilled about possibly running into her ex.... the one who broke her teenage heart all those years ago, but nothing a little avoidance can't help. Only she didn't realize she was coming home to a lot of suspicions aimed at the Jaguars in the town which happen to be her family.Owen who is the alpha of the pack for Bear Mountain has no...more

I have become a huge fan of Katie Reus ever since I read one of her books this summer. I have enjoyed each one and this installment is no different. I liked that the reader is brought into the story from page one. There was no wasting of time by telling the backstory regarding the h/h before you get to the good stuff. When Owen and Gabriela meet up again the reader immediately knows "this is going to be good".

Katie Reus knows how to write great Alpha characters but even better- she knows how to...more

Gabriela, a jaguar shifter, hasn't been home in 4 years and knows once she is there she does not want to see Owen, a pack alpha. Owen was her best friend when they were younger but after tragedy hits she just wants to relax. That doesn't seem to go as planned though. This book was full of action from the beginning and leads to romance, love and happy endings.

I would highly recommend this novella because it has everything you could want with every page. I am a big fan of shifters and this book d...more

Gabriela Segura left her small town of Bear Mountain, Montana almost five years ago. Secret work for the government and a broken heart has kept her away. But after losing her entire team, it was time for Gabriela to head home and regroup, hoping to avoid the man, Owen Wright, who hurt her ten years ago. When she arrives in town, she is almost immediately taken against her will by Owen’s little brother, who thinks he can use her as leverage to find ou...more

Her family no longer has mutual respect and trust with the local wolf pack. It has been almost 10 years since Gabriella last seen Owen who is now the Alpha of the wolf pack. This short intrigued me, it made me want to read more about these shifters and their history. I thought the history between Owen and Gabriella was interesting. I don’t blame Gabriella for running when she overheard Owen. I was glad that she told him so that he knew why Gabriella cut him off. The rest of things went about how you thought they would. I was happy with how things ended for them.

I really love Katie Reus's writing :) She has a way of making these short little novellas satisfy your romance craving. I thought Owen and Gabriela's story was awesome, but it left me wanting so much more!

I wish the author would make her novellas into full blown novel's because they always feel so short! I swear, you blink and the book is done. I love books that have some type of military or secret agent aspect to them, which made this book a plus. I also really enjoyed the characters and the pl...more

This was a really hot, sweet read!! The characters were very well built and after reading leaves you with the satisfaction of having read a full length book all wrapped up in a Novella! Definitely have no problem recommending this book to everyone =)

Short and sweet shifter story that was fairly unremarkable but not unenjoyable. There were some editorial issues with missing or misused words but these issues didn't detract from the story. Overall, a decent read.

I just finished this book and loved it. The action starts right from the beginning and doesn't end through out the story. I am new to this author and I am definitely an instant fan.

Not too sure why this is rated so highly, I didn't think it was all that and a bag of chips myself. I found it lacking.

This is another great book from Katie Reus. It is a Novella length and is similar to her other Cravings books. Great characters with lots of love and passion for one another. I like that there were both wolf and jaguar shifters in this one. Mixes it up a little bit. Another fun read!

Katie fell in love with romance at a young age thanks to books she pilfered from her mom’s stash. Years later she loves reading romance almost as much as she loves writing it. However, she didn’t always know she wanted to be a writer. After graduating summa cum laude with a degree in psychology and working too many jobs she hated, she finally figured things out.

She now spends her days writing dark...more
