First of, what I love about her series is that in every book we not only get a background story on the main characters, but every one of the characters in the past books come back and play a pivotal part of the story. They’re like a family that you want to know what’s going on with them and not be forgotten.
I’m not going to give a synopsis, but the story continues after the last one, Midn ...more

Donna Grant delivers in the latest installment of the Dark Warriors series. Everything that has been building up to this point finally reaches its precipice and Grant really makes this book shine. With tons of action and a sweet, but also scorching romance, readers will sure be thrilled by how this series is coming to an end.

Midnight's Warrior is Donna Grant's the fourth book of the Dark Warriors series; like its predecessors in both this series and the series before it, Dark Sword, I deeply enjoyed this story. This is an amazing book, again, like its predecessors; the plot is extremely interesting (extending from Dark Sword), the theme original and cool, the setting is as enchanting as time, the mood thrilling on so many different levels, the irony too damn funny, the confli ...more
Really really enjoyed this installment in this series. Great action. Lots of magic. Great chemistry between the main characters Ramsey and Tara.

I really enjoyed reading this fantastic romance adventure. I loved her characters. Ramsey and Tara. Here is a short review, I do not want to spoil the story for you! For the last ten years Tara has lived a life on the run. Ramsey MacDonald has a new assignment, to protect Tara. He worked as a handy man at the castle so I could keep an eye on her. He will try to get closer to her and both will start to trust each other. Sparks ...more
I did figure out the magical connection with him and Tara before it was revealed in the book though, but I still enjoyed it. Sometimes it's nice being right:)
I did not see the tragic end for a couple characters at the end of the book and I'm sure it will have an effect on the future installments of the series.
Still waiting for a ...more
Have to confess though that I was just a little upset with Malcolm’s woman. If you look at the series, the women became more… naïve (by lack of a better description), as the centuries went on. She did improve though; have to give her credits for that.
I don’t think I can really pic one character or couple who captured me. They all have that special something for ...more
Well written, thought out, hottest love scenes yet, fast-paced filled with excitement, romance, humor and emotion!
I loved it, can you tell?
The mysterious, on-the-run Tara combined with the well-planned-thought, slow-to-anger Ramsey were just too perfect. Their romance was slam-jam-thank-you-Mam'am hot. The camaraderie these Warriors and Druids had for each other were touching and endearing. Such loyalty made immortallities fulfilled and much needed support when fighting evil...
In the book Ramsey MacDonald a Warrior/Druid afraid to use his magic because of his God is sent to save Tara Kincaid. Tara a Druid who's afraid of her uncontrolled magic has been running for ten years from her family, her magic and Declan. The chemistry between these two is smokin hot and magical.
since Declan is dead now I'm curious to see what evil they're gonna fight.
I'm more than impatient for the next book to be released
