See You Soon was a very quick read. It's a story about Tess and Jimmy (best friends) who grow up in small town, USA. They end up going their separate ways in life and end up "finding each other" again. This love story is not all kittens and rainbows though, there are quite a few twists and turns on this road to love...

See You Soon by Lindsay Chamberlin is a romance novel about a small-town girl, Tessaira (aka Tess), who leaves her best friend, James (aka Jimmy), behind to take her dream job in New York. Right before she leaves for New York, Tess hands Jimmy a letter. Four years past before they reconnect. Is it too late?

I really like the story in general. The characters are heart-warming. The pace is pretty fast. Since the story itself isn't overly long, I would have liked it to slow it down a little, especi...more

Great storyline, although just a little bit predictable in some parts. When Jessica and Tess went to hear the musician, I knew who it was going to be. And I got vibes off of Joey right from the start that told me that something was not quite.....right. All in all I have to say it was a good book though. Really sweet story about two kids who grew up together and wound up going their separate ways, only to reconnect four years later far from home. After some twists and turns, and Tess' annoying ha...more

I thought this book was very good. Although some parts were very predictable. the book was an enjoyable quick read.
Leaning towards 2.5 stars.

There were some good bits in this, but I finished it feeling like there were a lot of contrived parts.

Just felt way too planned out and precise in a lot of the conversations and situations. And to steal a quote from another review I once read for a different book... "use your word!". He said 'hell' and she was so shocked 'because he never cuss's and never at her'... Alert the authorities.

Not an all together bad read, but wouldn't pay for it... And it hasn't even left...more
I like having a quick and easy read, but wow, was this book beyond predictable. I will also say, Tess annoyed me greatly. A good looking, nice man (I won't give away too much) wants to be with you and you're going to act so stubborn? I also had a couple unanswered questions by the end of the book as well. I had to give this a 2 out of 5 stars.
I found this book to be an entertaining read on the afternoons. Short, simple and to the point... most of the times. I became a little "irritated" with Tess's adolescent reactions to different situations, but finally in the end she took charge of her feelings. Overall I enjoyed this book, and especially lover her full name "Tessaira".
It was okey but the main character Tessa she pissed me off!! So selfish and kinda stupid anyways story was nice but the only that bother me was that the main character was really retarded anyways yeah that's it...
It was such a quick read. I enjoyed the storyline, but at the end I was left with a "is that it" feeling. We should have been able to see more into their relationship together even if in an epilogue.
It was a cute, short freebie! Every now and then there were misunderstanding between the character that annoyed me because that was the only problem. Still cute and short book!

Lindsay is a fun new author. This first book was worth the read. I enjoyed the story and can't wait to read whats next.

The story started out really good but the ending wasn't too good. I have a lot of what-happened-next questions.
Different story then I expected. Held a little bit too much drama for me. Overall good read
A quick easy read...a sweet story about childhood sweethearts....

“Brought me to life
Made me feel love
Left me with a dream
Oh what a wonderful

Gave me strength when I was weak
Even helped me off my knees
Showed me what love could really be
Oh what a wonderful lie
