Determined to find freedom and avoid an unwanted bond, Taeyo runs away from home. But no sooner does he make his escape then he is captured again, the latest victim in a string of kidnappings. His rescue comes at the hands of Germane, a half-wolf, half-dog sent to find him. The rescue results in a mating bond, however—a fact that pleases Taeyo, but angers Germane. Until th...more

shockingly bad.

0-for-6.

0-for-6!!!

not one of the six novels i've read from this publisher were good.

this one's riddled with poor proofing, bad characterization, and random observations about fashion and driving while on the phone.

at least i am reminded to keep both hands on the stirring wheel.

ALSO THERE IS NO FUCKING.

no fucks to be found.

not even a bit of head!

truly, an appalling piece of fiction.

save your money.

The blurb sums it up nicely, except I was disappointed in the romance part of this story.
Taeyo is supposed to mate with someone he doesn't want to, and after meeting his parents I can't imagine they would have forced him, so he runs away and then decides on Germane within minutes because he's strong, can protect him and is loyal?! as far as I could tell Taeyo is more than capable of taking care of himself and at most he 'grew' on Germane but I didn't see any reason for the two of them to be toge...more

Aside from the rather amusingly bad editing errors, one of the most egregious of which is "stirring wheel", this story totally lacks a convincing show of romance between the MCs. Actually, it's worse than that, it absolutely, totally lacks a proof of a real relationship between the two characters.

The idea that the kitsune, Taeyo, a happy, go lucky, type of person, just chooses Germane, a wolf-dog hybrid who is also a sour, sharp tongued type, as his mate without any real build up in their charac...more

This was a rather interesting story. Taeyo is a kitsune with seven tails who’s run away so he wouldn’t have to mate with another kitsune he doesn’t love. Unfortunately, his curiosity causes him to be the next victim in another kidnapping. In swoops Germane, an agent tasked with finding Taeyo and inadvertently ends up getting a lead on solving the kitsune kidnapping case he was originally assigned to. However, Taeyo’s managed to bond himself with Ge...more

Quick, fun, sweet fantasy story with a feel-good ending and some great character banter.

For as long as she can remember, Alessandra Ebulu has always had her nose buried in a book. The characters appeal to her, and it is not uncommon to find her talking to the various characters in her head—, both the ones she has read about and the ones she has created. When not reading or writing, Alessandra can be found watching movies, sitting in front of her laptop (watching animes, reading manga...more
