Even as he puts pen to paper, Scott knows it’ll take all his courage to post his latest note to Joe. His lover wants him to write down exactly what he needs in order to feel safe and confident in their relationship. Yet for Scott, even though it’s the hardest letter he has ever written, he follows Joe’s command.

When it comes to Joe, waiting patiently isn’t his strongest vi

This volume was the exact counterpoint to the last book: here Scott puts it all on the line, opens up totally to Joe, and makes himself vulnerable. And really, what else could he have done after Joe has finally admitted that he loves him? And now that both of them have been honest with each other you'd expect everything to be just fine – right? Wrong! Kim Dare is leaving us in suspense for one more book, and I love and hate her for that in just about equal measure.

Now that Joe has been totally h

This is one of the best parts in this whole series. Scott and Joe are making a commitment toward each other and they actually talk more then they play. Overall, a good part!
Joe was Scott’s master, making everything okay was his job, and he intended to be damn good at it, right from the start. - With this sentence we have a proof how serious is Joe's intention with Scott, as Joe's lover and as his submissive.
Yeah, they are both talking about their future - while still being true to their characters on how that happens. Nice step forward in this one.

What a great set-up for the final "chapter" in this series. Scott's letter was wonderful and Joe responded like the great Dom he is. Can't wait for the last chapter, but at the same time I know I will really miss these guys.

How much courage does it take to commit your most closely guarded desires to paper? Even more, to then send them? That’s what Scott has to do in order to get what he wants and needs from Joe. He’s been putting it off, trying to make it perfect, but comes to realize that it can’t be as perfect as he wants. He needs to get it written and sent, so he can be Joe’s. It was so sad when Scott looks in the mirror and everything every bully had ever said to him comes ba

These characters are adorable. Scott is a new submissive who is very insecure in his role in life. Joe is a Dom who knows his role and wants Scott to be in it. Their interaction is great and easy to see the chemistry.

It is more like part of the plot as this whole series is a relationship in the making with each event in it being released as a part. The plot is pretty simpl
This series is designed to be read pretty much like each book is a new chapter. They are not standalone short stories and if you only read one or two, you will not get the full impact of the series as a whole.

After putting himself on the line in the last book with a perfect letter, Joe tells Scott to take his time responding and Joe will wait patiently. I don't know how he does it, but wait he does. When Scott finally responds (HUZZAH!), Scott's letter is everything I hoped it would be. So what

This is part thirteen of the serial. I loved this part! It was fantastic and made me cry and smile and sigh. I am diving into the next part right away, I can't wait to see how it ends.
