I loved Gloria Harchar's first book of the Lumiere series, but this 2nd story was to die for! I'm crazy about the characters, the plot, the steampunk elements, the magic, EVERYTHING! I don't want to spoil the story by giving away too many details, but I want to be Regan. She is a fighter and fiercely loyal. When she gets to know the hero, Bran, she believes in him even when he doesn't trust himself. Smart and beautiful, I almost felt like she could jump from the page. Definitely a must read if y...more
I think I like this better than Clockwork Blue, although they're both rather endearing in a way. As in the first book, the steampunk element is not highlighted, but the story is pretty enchanting on its own.
I liked the little cameo of Clockwork Blue here, though :)
