Utterly atrocious. A combination of toonish artwork, a mystery that is beneath the calibre of the dimmest person in the room anywhere, unbelievably short length, and disgustingly high price ought to make this book a novelty that you need to stay away from. AVOID IT.

Appalingly bad - Beanos are longer than this and cost 7 times less.
You get about 13 pages of actual comic..the rest is concept art available free online anyway.... the art is done by 2 people. One makes them look like anime hobbits and the other is decent and makes them look like people. Story is not compelling. Other than the good artist for a few pages. This is all style over substance.

This graphic novelisation has been a tiny bit disappointing. The illustrations are really cool, but the story was way too short and Sherlock's deductive process felt too rushed. The speech bubbles were a bit confusing too, not being too clear the order in which we must read them. If the story had been longer, I would have enjoyed it immensely.
