Worth reading if you've read FAR FROM BROKEN first.

Callie, Lady Carlisle is adjusting to her life with mechanical limbs and implanted nanites after being kidnapped, viciously assaulted and left for dead. And then reconstructed. But just as Callie, a former prima ballerina, is learning to accept her future she starts having problems with her enhancements. Her husband, Jasper blames himself for being unable to keep Callie safe. Now Callie is unwilling to share her problems with Jasper.

I wish I had read the first book in this series before I grabbed this one but it was still at least enjoyable.
Callie was an interesting heroine in that she has had almost everything taken away from her but she still keeps fighting. She's got a husband who loves her and just needs to finish coming to terms with the mechanical enhancements that have kept her alive.
Jasper turns out to be a good man that has a lot of guilt for what happened to his wife. He's a really strong man but knowing that his...more

I really enjoyed J.K. Coi's novella Far From Broken when I read it last year but at the time I had no idea that it was the first book in a series.
