This was a secondhand book store find. It's the kind of quirky book recommendation you'd expect from an independently-owned used books seller.

Didn't think I'd get into it easily, but it turned out to be pretty good as Hope is deft at painting a word picture. Can't imagine being a tramp poet, all said. Seems dreamily romantic as far as ideals go, but a touch risky as far as reality is concerned. Although danger and reclusiveness are subjects found in more than a few of Hope's poems too.
