Well, there are very, very few travel guides on Libya and being interested in Libya myself, I picked-up a copy of this book the first time I saw it. I must say, the book is amazing and not unsurprisingly is full of information on Libya and its history; what I like the most is that unlike many other books, the book simply highlights the main points in Libya's history and included it in short briefs; nevertheless the "food and drink" chapter was by all means a catastrophe!
