Danger and desire collide in a race against time

P.I. Quinn Parran's mission is simple: to join Alpha Force, a unique military team of shape-shifters, and use their new elixir to enhance his shape-shifting abilities. With the aid of Sergeant Kristine Norwood, each shifting experiment sparks something more volatile than any challenge he's ever encountered: a primal passion.

meh... Story line was too drawn out and the ending was rushed. Too many characters piled on in the last few chapters, as if the author wasn't sure how to end the story. Quinn was awesome and believable as a strong alpha werewolf/shifter/thing, but the girl? Can't even remember her name now. She is a nurse! No wait, she's in the military and has left those years of medical training behind! She's a ninja, fighting with unbelievable skills! Nope, she's texting her male partner to come save her!

There was nothing wrong with the writing or the story itself, it just didn't really pull at my heartstrings or interest me as much as I thought it would.

This was a new author for me, but I was surprised. It was a quick read, but very good.
